I am woken up the next morning by my alarm going off causing me to jump out of my sleep irritated that my sleep just had to be interrupted by the time. I groaned loudly, not wanting to get up so I turned over and shut off my alarm.

I had the day off, but I had forgotten to turn the alarm off the night before. I was too tired to even really do anything more, once I crawled up into my bed last night. However, since it had been my day off, I was going to lay up in my bed and lounge around.

I had been working really hard on trying to find someone to interview when that subject ended up falling right into my lap. Kane Brown.

Kane was already an upcoming artist that needed his content out there, and what better way to do that than using my company to help brand his name and story, right?

I pulled my blanket up over my head, allowing the darkness and sleep to try and take over me, but when I was dozing back into sleep, my phone dinged. I decided that maybe it was my boss or someone I was close to, so I threw my covers off my head, and reached for my phone grabbing it off of my bedside table. I clicked the on button to see that it was in fact, a message from Kane.

Hey, I know your day off is today so I don't want to bother you too much, but I was wondering if you would like to go out to brunch with me and a friend of mine? Say around eleven-thirty.

Absolutely! I will be there.

I'll pick you up at about ten forty-five roughly. Does that sound alright to you?

Yes, that sounds perfect! I will see you then!

With that I crawled out of my bed, making my way to my closet to find something that I could wear. After about a twenty-minute dilemma on what I was going to wear, I finally get myself showered and dressed. Once I was completely ready, I texted Kane.

Hey! I'm showered and ready to go whenever you are.

I'm leaving my house now, send me your address again?

Absolutely! 910 Varner Street Apt 15, Nashville, TN.

Perfect! I will be there in like fifteen minutes or less. See you really soon, beautiful!

See you soon hun! xx

After my little conversation with Kane, I slipped my shoes on, grabbed my things and then walked out the door locking it quickly. I walked towards the parking lot, and stood by my car awaiting Kane's arrival. Before too long he pulled up next to me, smiling widely.

"Now that's the face I was hoping to get to see again," He stated, making me smile widely.

"Aw, aren't you sweet?" I replied, getting into his truck before he could get out and open my door for me.

"In a rush are we?"

"No, just excited to see you," I responded giggling a little bit.

"Aw, you're laugh is really cute, darlin',"

"Thank you, love."

Kane had then began to proceed to pull out of my parking lot, quickly routing us onto the road so that we could get something to eat.

"My friend is going to meet us there. You're going to love him, and he's going to love you."

"Okay. What's his name?" I asked curious to know a little about him so that I can start a conversation the right way.

"His name is Ryan, he's from here, and he is a country music artist like me; He's pretty famous now, he kind of blew up almost overnight, starting on vine."

"That's really awesome, how's work been for you?"

"It's been decent. What about you, any new material you're working on?"

"Yeah, I have three to six months to find a new and upcoming artist who I can interview and write an article about them. Personal, and professional. I need them to tell me about themselves, and about their careers, but I still haven't had much luck finding anyone quite yet,"

"Well lucky for you I might know just the person," He responded, reaching his hand over to grab mine. I allowed his fingers to lace themselves through mine, and started looking out the passenger window waiting for us to finally get to the restaurant. I was excited to hear about what Kane had in store for me, and who this Ryan fella was.

Before too long we were pulling into a parking lot of a very cute little breakfast café, and I was in love with the outside of it. It was sort of on the edge of town, kind of on the outskirts but for some reason I had never seen this place before unless it was new.

"You're in awe aren't you?" Kane said making me jump out of my thoughts of how gorgeous this place truly was.

"I am. It's so beautiful, but I have never seen this place before and I've been this direction a million times. Is it new?"

"As a matter of fact it is new. It's Ryan's parents new restaurant that they bought the land for, then built it. It's actually all homemade by hand meals, and they are very popular. The majority of the city loves this place, so I wanted to share it with you too, trust me after you eat this food, you will thank me later, I promise."

Kane pulled his truck into a parking spot, put it in park, and shut it off. I quickly jumped out of the truck, ready to get some food in my belly because it started rumbling screaming at me about how angry it is that I have no food in there.

"In a rush are we?" He asked me again as he walked around the truck and getting about two inches from my face.

"No, I just need some food, and I'm super excited to meet your friend." I responded.

"I really want to kiss you right now," He said, putting his fingers under my chin.

"Then kiss me," He then took my consent, and did as promised. He kissed me in the most amazing way I have ever had.

"Now I'm ready to go inside, however Ryan doesn't know that we're a thing, I told him we were coworkers for now because I know how judgmental he can be, and I'm not ready to tell him until I feel we are going to be solid,"

"I understand. That's fair. So what is it that we do together work wise?"

"You are the accountant for the ranch that I work on. Wellinger's Ranch is the name of it, but he won't go into too much detail about questions on that. So don't worry; Also, he does know that you're a writer on the side too, and you work for a Publishing Company."

"Okay, so that's good to hear. Should we go in or is there anything else I should know before we do?"

"No I think that might be everything love. Let's go in and meet him at our table,"

"Okay, good. I hope this goes over well,"

"If my instincts are correct, this will go very well. Just trust me."

After a few steps more, we then arrived at the doors of the café. When you first walk inside there's the desk to pay the bill, then next to that is a display case of so many different things that you can buy for a very decent price. Surrounding the restaurant there's multiple gorgeous tables, with the perfect matching chairs.

"This place is so cute, Kane! I'm so glad that you brought me here, I love this. And the art on the walls, the paintings are so gorgeous. I think I could come here often if I do say myself,"

"Don't get ahead of yourself now love; You haven't even tried the food yet,"
