Once I had left the admissions booth, I started walking through the grounds to find a concession stand with a large sign sitting next to it, that had the different types of food on it. Hot dogs, hamburgers, cheese burgers, Frito chili pies, nachos, etc. Not too far from that was another small stand that had a large banner advertising that it was the alcohol stand.

I decided to keep walking to see if there was a merchandise stand and much to my surprise a little down the way on the left side of the stage, there sat not one but multiple merchandise stands, so I made my way towards them, so I could see what types of things they were selling.

"Good morning, young miss how may I assist you today?" I guy about my age asked. He was dressed in a tore up camo hat that said 'Gone Fishin', a realtree t-shirt, jeans, and sunglasses.

"I'm just looking around at the merch tables, to get some insight for the story of the festival today, may I ask how long have you been out here setting all this up today?"

"Been here since the crack of dawn miss, are you some type of reporter or something?" He asked.

"Yeah, for the Country Artist Magazine, I'm covering the festival headline story this year," I said to him with a smile.

"You're that backwoods journalist from Knoxville, Blue aren't ya?"

"Yeah, that's me."

"Well, I hope you enjoy the festival Miss, have a great day and come on back over if you fancy a conversation, the names Beau," He said. I smiled gently at him.

"Thank you, Beau for your kindness, it was a pleasure to meet you," I said making my way down the line to the other merch tables, seeing they all had pretty much the same things, shirts, hoodies, toys for little kids, hats, sunglasses, cups, coozies, and things like that. I had seen pretty much all I had needed to see for the merchandise, but I liked talking with the people they were friendly, and very helpful.

I figured now that I had looked at all of that, I should go take a look around backstage, maybe see if any of our guests were in the area yet, so I mozied my way on down back by the merch, waiting for the show to start. I decided to pick my spot to sit, which is up front by the stage for a better view of everything, for the article.

While I waited for people to arrive, I decided it would be a good idea to sit down in my fold out chair, and maybe take some notes in my notebook, so that I could possibly get something pieced together slowly for the story. This story is going to be important for not only the magazine, and my viewers, but my career too.

My career is so very important to me, and I have so many questions. After the show I have a small line up of artists that I have to interview, such as Brantley Gilbert, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw. They are the faces of country music. They are the reason that this genre is such a beautiful genre, and people love it.

I began writing down some questions, but soon realized that those are too cliche, and wanted something that was out of the box, something that they had to really actually think about, but even now I had to think about that.

"Excuse me Miss is this spot taken?" A young man asked me.

"No, not at all. Go for it. I'm just getting some stuff done for work," I replied to him not looking up from my notebook.

"Awesome, thank you young lady. I will be right back later, before the show starts." He said before quickly disappearing before I could catch a glimpse of him.

As I am still sucked into piecing what little bit of my findings I have together, I start hearing multiple voices starting to join together around me much like a crowd, making me realize that the fans are beginning to arrive slowly.

I closed my notebook slowly, slipping it back into my bag, and took a look at my surroundings seeing a very size-able amount of people around, but I knew that wasn't everyone, so I picked my bag up and quickly made my way to the concession stands to grab some food before the show.
