About three days later, after the incident with Kane's charade of being a douche to me, he finally came knocking on my door, apologizing to me and begging me to take him back. I never actually even broke up with him, but he was freaking out and afraid to lose me.

So we sat down together over a drink or two, and had a very serious talk. One of which discussing moving in together. I was honestly starting to fall in love with Kane, and I hated that feeling because what my mom talked to me about days ago, wasn't exactly wrong. I don't fault her for thinking the way she was, because Kane did have some pretty shady acts throughout the relationship but I tried to brush them off as much as I could.

"Listen, Blue again, I'm seriously very sorry for the way I spoke to you. I love you, Blue. I should haven't talked to you that way, and I really want to fix things with you."

"I love you too, Kane. I'm starting to fall in love with you, and I see so much in you, but I also want you to get the best out of life. I just can't wait for you to get all of your affairs in order forever. And I also do hope that your brother is going to be okay,"

"Yes, my brother is fine. No, I have everything in order just the way I need it to be. I think maybe you should move to a different part of town, like maybe that house on the outskirts that you fell in love with. You know the one with the wrap-around, screened in porch with ceiling fans, and two porch swings? I know you said that you wanted to get a small apartment, but I'm thinking that maybe you would like something that has space, and I already own the house so you can rent it personally from me, okay?"

"Are you sure about this, Kane?"

"Yes I am very sure about this. That way you don't have to go through all the background check crap, and yes it's pet friendly. Yes, you'll have to pay a deposit for the pet if you get one, however I will give you a discount, okay?"

"Okay deal."

"When do you want to move in?"

"As soon as possible, I suppose. Will that make you happier?"

"Much. That way I can set you up a home office for when you're writing your articles and things,"

"Oh, Kane. Honey, you're so sweet."

"Well, I can't have my girl without everything she needs to become a famous writer, now can I? Consider this an apology gift."

"Okay fine you got yourself a deal Mr. Brown,"

"Good. I will have movers come by to pack up the apartment, around three-thirty okay? Around one-ish we will go over to the house so that we can meet the movers there, yeah?"

"Kane, I wanted to see the house first before I packed anything up. Can the movers come tomorrow, so that I can go see the house today?"

"Yes, absolutely babe."

"Okay, good. Anything planned for today?"

"Actually, yes. I was hoping that you would join me today at lunch with Ryan. We're having lunch at his house. He invited us."

"Sure, let me go get changed, and I will meet you in here." I said, getting up off the couch and running to my room to get something more presentable on. I chose a pair of jeans, boots, a cute plaid flannel shirt, and a bandana to match. When I was satisfied, I returned back to my living room where Kane was patiently waiting for me but he was talking to someone on the phone.

"Babe, listen I can't talk right now. I'm in the middle of this meeting can I call you back tonight when I am back at the hotel? Give the baby love for me. I love you so much, but I'm in this meeting the rest of the day. I will talk to you soon enough,"
