"Hey, Blue. You're still going to be walking me down the aisle right?" Kale asked me, as I was pouring a cup of coffee.

"Yes, of course. I will also be attending the engagement party tonight, the rehearsal dinner tomorrow night, and then wedding rehearsal Thursday morning. I have my schedule cleared for the whole rest of the week. But today I do have meetings all day, so I won't be here for the color and reception planning talk. You'll have to either send it to me in an email, or catch me up when I get home. I should be home by two today as long as everything goes as planned, is that okay?"

"Yes, by all means that's fine. We can play catch up at the dinner table tonight. Mason is asleep still, so I can catch him up on this conversation too." Kale responded, writing things down in his notebook.

"I will make sure to text you if I'm going to be late, and please by all means if you need me to pick something up, text me and I will get it when I get off work and I can go pick up whatever it is that you need. I love you guys, I will see you later on."

"Okay see you later, Be safe love you too sis!" He replied, still writing things down. I quickly make my way out of my front door, and towards my car.

It's been about six months now since Kane and I broke up. Things have been so much better for me, and I got a really big promotion by Analise because she loved my article about Kane, and it changed my career for the better.

I am now Analise's Chief of Staff so I'm her second in command, and I have an assistant of my own now. I basically write whatever I want, when I want, and I also edit other people's things as well.

I took a huge jump in my career within the last six months but I am super happy with my life, and my career. The boys are getting married on Saturday, and I'm giving them Kane's house. I ended up buying it from his ex-wife who ended up getting it in the divorce. She likes me so she sold me the house for $15,000 and it's now mine. But I'm giving it to the boys as a wedding gift, so they have a place in Nashville like they've wanted for awhile now.

I already signed the deed to another house of my own, and I transferred this house into the boys' names, they just don't know yet.

I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they open the deed. I'm going to give it to them in private after the engagement party. The reason I'm doing this is because they love this house more than anything, and they were talking about adopting a baby, or even maybe getting a surrogate.

This would be the perfect house to raise a small family in. It's four bedrooms, and three and half bathrooms. They could raise a few kids, and live their days out here, making it a permanent forever home. They could even pass it down to their kids, because there is is some land that it's sitting on that came with it. About forty-acres I owned. Well I gave them about fifteen acres, and I kept the rest cause I'm going to maybe build a house on it of my own to pass down through my family as well.

About fifteen minutes later, I am arriving at the office where I will be listening to some of my journalist's pitches about the Fall edition coming out and who we should put on the cover this season.

I figure it would be an easy day for me and my staff, because I had many things that I needed to do after work, and I was already mentally exhausted. I wasn't sure if I could handle the idea of listening to a bunch of pitches, now that I actually thought about it. I know my staff worked really hard on their pitch, but maybe I could call it an early day.

I did have that power after all. I pulled up to my parking spot, and yes it had a sign with my name on it. I grabbed my purse, and my cup of coffee then I locked up my car and made my way to my office to get everything set up for the meeting.

My staff didn't have to be here for another three hours, but I came in early so that I could catch a few hours to play catch up on some paperwork. I sat down at my desk, starting up my work computers and began to write a new article of my own.

I had been working on the same article for almost a year, but it wasn't just any article, so I had to make sure that it was perfect. Analise gave me as long as I needed, just as long as it was done, and worth the long wait.

I had finally found someone that I could write about, and we've been working on it for awhile now. Long enough, that I actually started to have feelings for him. He was an upcoming artist who had the values of a Southern man. He's a good man, and I think that I would like to go out with him.

He happens to be Kane's best friend, which wasn't something I intended but hey it happened and maybe it will be more than just a professional relationship.

As I started working on my article a few of the team members that I was in charge of, had come walking into the office. One of them knocked on my door, so I allowed him to enter.

"I know I'm here early, and it's because I had a few questions with my article and was wondering if you could give me some pointers?" He asked me.

"Cillian, is it?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Tell you what, Cillian. Come by my office tomorrow morning and we will have a look at that article, and I will give you an extension, yeah?"

"Absolutely, Ms. Ivy. Thank you so much, I really appreciate that alot."

"Absolutely, Cillian. It's what I'm here for," With that he left the office smiling that I will be able to help him.

Cillian was the new kid on the block, so he was super shy about asking for things well he was pretty much shy about talking period really, so him asking me for help definitely was a big step for him, and I know it took a lot of gumption, but he was also one of my best writers.

He was a man of very few verbal words, but you let him put that on paper then that was different. Cillian, had a heart for writing, but there was a fire burning of passion that he had. He possessed many traits of myself, and that's why I wanted to help him become a better journalist, and better version of himself.

Cillian was a great kid with a lot of potential so I decided to quickly pencil him into my schedule for the week, and told my assistant to make sure that he was aware of that before the meeting.

I quickly got back to work on my article, until the meeting started.
