Light...

Pyramids...

Salvation...

Darkness...

...

All these words and many more resonated inside Ravi's mind and kept repeating themselves as lots of images of things he had never seen or even heard about before just rushed through his mind...

...

Possessed dark figures crawling around...

A majestic golden palace...

The silhouette of a dragon soaring the skies...

Black pyramids traversing space...

...

Everything else was dark and empty.... not a single soul around... no Last City... no friends... no family... nothing... Just... a huge dark void...

Then, a tiny light began shining from the distance, and a voice the guardian trainee knew very well echoed all around, calling for him.

"Ravi..."

The light became even brighter and the voice even stronger...

"Ravi!"

Soon, the darkness surrounding the boy vanished and was replaced with a dazzling shine...

"RAVI!"

Finally, the blue-haired boy opened his eyes. He was lying on what seemed to be a green field overflowing with flowers of different colors and sizes. Right next to him were Wire and cybel looking straight at him with worry. And in front of him was Leah kneeled on the ground with her eyes filled with a few tears. Turns out she had actually been trying to wake him up for a very long time without success, but now that he finally reacted... the girl just couldn't help but to gasp in relief with a big smile plastered in her face.

"Ravi... You are awake... I'm so glad..." she muttered while clearing her tears.

"Leah... Eh... Yeah..." Ravi replied without idea of how they ended up like that, or where they were. He then took a seat and turned to look at the ghosts. "Wire... Cybel... Just... What happened?"

"We crossed the vex portal" Wire bluntly replied. "And we ended up here"

"Yeah, but strangely enough... you were the only one unconscious" Cybel added. "Leah has been trying to wake you up for several minutes already"

"What happened?" Leah asked Ravi with concern.

"I'm not sure" he replied while rubbing his head. "I think I just had some sort of... vision"

"A vision?"

"Yeah..." At that moment, the bluenette finally took a look around and gasped in surprise at the brand new environment. "A-amazing!" he then added while staring at the wide and beautiful green esplanade surrounded by mountains of different sizes and forms. The sky was of a stunning light-turquoise with a bit of green, and there were lots of vegetation all around. "What is this place?"

"It's the Black Garden of course" Cybel bluntly replied. "The place where those dark-praising machines of the Vex are born... according to the stranger at least"

"Really? But, it doesn't look dark at all"

"That's what I said as well" Leah added while caressing a nearby flower. "This place is actually... really beautiful... Are you sure this is the Black Garden?"
