Ravi and Leah had successfully passed their probation period. And to celebrate, the bluenette gathered lots of his friends from the academy in order to visit Leah together, let her know the amazing news, and also spend a good time between buddies.
"So... Idus wasn't able to come after all?" Leah suddenly asked Kadiah as both of them were seated over the couch.
"Yeah..." the awoken girl replied with a tad bit of disappointment. "I really wanted him to come over, but he said he had some far more important stuff to do" Leah sweat-dropped at such comment. "But that doesn't matter anymore. After all, this is all about you and Ravi finally being able call yourselves guardian trainees again. So I'm not planning on ruining the mood at all"
"I see..."
"Hey, Leah" A joyful female voice then called the human girl out of nowhere. It was Kora. She had just served a glass full of some sort of suspicious beverage and was now offering it to Leah. "Here, take this"
Leah took the glass with a bit of doubt. "Wh-what is this?"
"It's 'sake' of course! We can't have a party without it, can we?"
"Wait... Wh-what?! You can't be serious!" Leah replied while startling and getting all nervous, only to then receive a very innocent question from Ravi who was sitting right next to her.
"Hey... What is 'sake'?" he whispered into her ear.
"Oh... Well, it is..."
At that exact moment however, Kora offered one glass to Ravi as well. And then, she proceeded to offer one to each and every single person around her. "Very well! Listen up everyone!" Kora then happily claimed while catching everyone's gazes. "As you may already know, the point of this reunion between friends is to celebrate Ravi and Leah's successful comeback to the guardian academy. SO... don't you think they should be the ones to show us how to properly drink this beverage?!"
"HUH?!"
Kadiah clapped her hands together with great enthusiasm. "Of course! Come on, Leah! Show us how to drink!"
"B-b-but..."
"Yeah! Go ahead!" Nathan added with a sarcastic smirk.
"I would like to learn!" Davith finally said in the same manner.
"Come on! Drink! Drink! Drink! Drink! Drink!" everyone except Ravi kept on repeating while watching Leah who, on the contrary, had a nervous look all over her face.
"Ehhh... I'm not sure I should be drinking this" the human girl finally replied, doubtfully. "In fact, I'm not really sure any of us should be drinking this at all"
"Oh, come on! You are exaggerating!" Jynna claimed while smiling in a cocky way. "It's just a small glass. We may all still be underage brats and all but, it's not like you'll end up going over the top with it, right?"
"W-well... Yeah, but..."
"I still don't get it" Ravi innocently intervened while holding his own glass. "What's so great about this drink? It looks and smells really weird... and I bet it tastes awful as well. Is this really something people drink often?"
Kadiah and the others startled at such curious question coming from the blue-haired boy. "Huh? You are speaking as if you haven't once heard of 'sake' before" Kadiah replied as Ravi on the other hand, raised an eyebrow in return.
"Well, that's because this is the first time I've heard of it"
"Wait... What?"
"You heard me. I haven't once tasted or even heard about 'sake' before in my entire life"
