I decided to listen to Judd, so I went down to the station the next morning to get my job back.

"What made you change your mind?" Owen asked as he showed me around the firehouse.

"My brother. He said that I shouldn't let him hold me down. So here I am". I replied.

"Again, I am truely sorry". He exclaimed.

"I know, but this job is the only thing my brother knows, he won't do anything else that's not this". I told him and he sighed.

"Your uniform is in the locker rooms. Marjan will show-". He began.

"I know where they are". I interrupted and he nodded.

I walked away from him and towards the locker rooms. When I walked in, I sighed before going over to the folded uniform that had my name on it.

"Hey". A voice said from beside me and I turned around to see a pretty Muslim with a black hijab around her head.

"I'm Marjan, you must be Cassandra". She said with a soft smile.

"Uh yeah, nice to meet you Marjan". I said with a small smile.

"I saw you here yesterday with a tall man. He looked kinda angry". She said with a nervous chuckle.

"Oh yeah. That's my brother, he uh has quite a temper". I chuckled.

"It's nice to have a girl around ya know? There's way to much testosterone in this firehouse". She joked and I smiled.

"You can say that again". I laughed.

"I have a feeling that you and I will be fast friends". She smiled.

"Yeah. Me too". I smiled back.

Just then the alarm went off and I quickly put my uniform on before heading out to the truck and climbing in.

"Captain Strand? Officer Reyes, Austin P.D. Good to meet you , sir". A man said approaching Owen as soon as we got out the truck.

"Good to meet you". Owen replied.

"Single vehicle accident. Looks like she hydroplaned, hit the light pole and rolled the vehicle. Reyes explained.

"How many people inside?" Owen asked as we walked over to the rolled vehicle.

"Just the driver, Allison Parker". He replied.

"Door's to jammed to get her out and don't look now, but you're about to have an audience". He finished, before pointing to a news van that just showed up.

"Show ' em what we got". Owen yelled.

I walked over to the car before peeking inside to see a barely conscious women.

"Allison, can you hear me?" I called to her, but she didnt answer.

"Cap, it looks like she's unconscious". I yelled to him.

"We gotta move". He yelled to the rest of the team.

"Hey Cap. We got gas in the water. The fuel tank must have busted". Paul announced, walking over to Owen.

"Everbody get back! Mateo, disengage the battery terminal. T.k get the CO2. Paul, I need you to get me the jaws of life". Owen ordered.

"On it Cap". Paul said.

"Allison, hold on. Stay with us". I encouraged.

"All right team. Let's get this windshield off". Owen said as Paul came over with the jaws of life.
