"Cassandra! Cass, Can you hear me?" The sound of Henrietta yelled before tapping on my face lightly making me groan as I opened my eyes to see her hovering over me.

"Oh thank God!" She sighed before helping me sit up.

"Your head is bleeding, so I'm assuming you have a slight concussion. I need to assess you but right now we gotta get out of here. The fire is spreading fast". She explained as she pulled me up off the ground and I groaned.

"I need to get to the radio". I stated before limping towards the chopper I must of flown out of the minute we hit the ground.

I picked up the radio and tried to call for my brother or Captain Strand but it wasn't going through.

"Yeah, that radio's dead.  I can't get cell reception to save my life." I grunted before climbing out the chopper.

"Hopefully command can pull GPS from the chopper to find us." Hen commented.

"Hopefully. How's he doing?" I questioned as she looked over the unconscious pilot.

"Sedated. Fractured femur, couple of cracked ribs. He'll live". She answered.

"Don't speak too soon". I mumbled as the wind picked up and the flames started getting bigger.

"You feel that? It's creating it's own wind. It's a firestorm. Gonna find some shelter." I explained before pulling out a map from one of the bags we found on the chopper.

"Okay, we're somewhere near here?" I asked pointing to a spot on the map making her nod.

"This could work". I mumbled.

"That could work." She agreed.

"Feel that? It's making its own wind." I stated making her look at me weirdly.

"What?" I questioned.

"You just repeated yourself". She commented.

"I think I should probably check you out now". She stated.

"Do you know what day it is?" She asked.

"It's night". I answered.

"You know where you are?" She questioned pointing a flashlight in my eyes.

"Somewhere I don't want to be". I answered sarcastically.

"All right. Uneven pupillary responses. I think you might have a concussion". She stated.

"So what are you gonna tell me, to stay off my feet? Avoid stress?" I scoffed as the flames started spreading around us faster.

"Or in this case, run like hell!" She commented before the both of us lifted the unconscious pilot and carried him away from the spreading flames.

Marjan's POV

"Yeah, but what we need to do is get containment in here, here, or if I make it myself--" De Leon spoke as we stood around the map on the table trying to get to Cass and Henrietta.

"This is a joke! We know exactly where the chopper went down. So why haven't you sent out a rescue team?" I yelled slamming my fist against the table.

"As I said, the beacon is coming from two miles inside an active burn zone". De Leon argued.

"It is not safe to send anyone up in the dark" He added.

"Commander, with all due respect, we accept the risk and we ain't asking anybody else to go." Judd stated.
