Awakening: Part Two

"Are you sure you want to tell them now?" I asked Marjan as I placed the snacks on the table.

"Well, we could tell them when you start showing but then they'll get upset that we didn't tell the sooner". She shrugged.

"You're right". I sighed just as there was a knock on the door. I put the chip bowl down and went over to open the door.

"Hey!" Grace smiled as we embraced each other in a hug.

"Hey, thank you for coming". I smiled as I hugged Judd and my dad before the walked in.

A couple minutes later our living room was occupied with the rest of the 126 family.

"Okay, so why did guys decide to have a house warming party three weeks after you moved in?" Paul asked, directing his gaze at me.

"Actually, Cass and I have some news to share with you". Marjan smiled as we stood in front of the crew.

"No way, are you guys getting married?" Mateo asked excitedly.

"I call bridesmaid". Paul called, raising his hand, causing me to laugh.

"No, we're not getting married just yet". Marjan chuckled and I smiled at her.

"Then what's going on?" Judd asked.

"Well, there are two parts to what we're about to tell you". I said as i grabbed Marjan's hand.

"The first thing is that i have a secret that only Cass knows about and it's one of my biggest insecurities". Marjan explained.

"Well hey, this is a judge free family. You can tell us anything". Owen smiled.

"Okay well, I was born with an extra body part". She said.

"What does that mean?" T.k asked as everyone looked at us confused.

"It means I was born a girl,  but with a penis". She explained.

"So you're intersex?" Judd clarified and she nodded.

"Well, Marjan let me break it down for you! Look around this room, we have two openly gay couples, a transsexual and three interracial relationships. In this day and age no one is gonna have a problem with what you are. All that matters is who you are!" Owen smiled.

"Exactly! We still love you the same, no matter what's between your legs". Grace smiled.

"Thank you guys". She smiled in relief.

"Okay, so what's the other thing, sweet heart?" Dad asked and I sighed before grabbing Marjan's hand and she nodded with a smile.

"I'm pregnant!" I stated making everyone look at me in shock and  excitement.

"You for real?" Judd asked with a smile, making me nod and he stood up and brought me into a hug and spun me around making me laugh.

"Congratulations you two!" Owen smiled bringing us into a hug.

"Thanks, Cap!" I smiled and my dad came over to us.

"To think your brother would make me a granddaddy first". He chuckled making me smile as he pulled me into a hug.

"Congratulations, baby". He said making me smile.

"Thanks, daddy". I sighed before pulling away.

"I can't believe you beat us". Grace joked pulling us into a hug.

"Ya'll were taking to slow anyway". I smiled causing us both to laugh.

The rest of the day we spent as a family as we spoke about our lives with the occasional food and beverages that were put out.
