Yee-Haw: Part two

"I'm telling you, the guy literally turned the office into a scene from Bird box". I insisted as Judd and I entered the house.

"Cass, enough already. The guy was crazy. Bird box was just a movie". My  brother groaned.

"Arguing already? Thats a new record". Grace joked once she saw us enter the kitchen.

"Hey, babe". Judd greeted as he went over to kiss his wife.

"What's going on?" She asked turning to look at me.

"Cass believes that a delivery man turned our call into a scene from Bird box when he laced food with mercury". Judd explained.

"She was yelling out bird box the entire time". He scoffed and Grace chuckled.

"Whatever I'm gonna take a shower then love and leave you guys". I said as I turned to walk away.

"You got plans tonight, Cass?" Grace asked and I turned to look at her.

"Yep, that I do". I answered.

"Where you going?" Judd asked as he went to stand behind Grace and hug her.

"Out". I replied and he scoffed.

"With who dummy?" He asked.

"Marjan". I replied and he smirked.

"Shut up. Its not like that. We're just friends". I rolled my eyes.

"That's what they all say". He smiled.

"You're annoying. Grace how you married this guy, I still wonder about". I scoffed making her laugh.

I turned towards my bedroom and walked in to take a shower.

Walking out my room, i went towards the kitchen when my phone pinged.

Marjan: Hey, you almost ready, I'm almost by your house?

Cassie: Yeah, just about.

Smiling I put my phone in my pocket and looked up to see Judd and Grace cuddling on the couch.

"Alright, I'm heading out. I'll see you, loser and Grace later. Love y'all". I called.

"Love you too". They called back as I exited the house.

Once I saw Marjan pull up, I walked to her car and got in.

"Hey, you look pretty". She smiled.

"Thanks, so do you". I smiled back.

"Back at the station today, you looked uncomfortable when Paul mentioned using science to better yourself. What happened?" I asked as I sat across from her at the restaurant and she sighed.

"I have a secret that no one in the 126 knows about". She answered and I looked at her for her to continue.

"You can tell me Marjan. I don't judge". I told her softly and she gave me a soft smile.

"When I was born, I wasn't born like a normal person". She spoke and I looked at her confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked and she sighed.

"I was born with a female top half and a male bottom half". She replied.

"So.. You're saying you have a male, sex organ?" I asked slowly and she nodded.

She sighed as she looked down in embarrassment and I placed a hand on top of hers.

"There is nothing wrong with that M.  I don't see you any different than I did a few hours ago. In fact, I think it makes you more attractive". I assured her and she looked up at me with a smile.
