"Babe, have you seen my black lace bra anywhere?" I called walking into the living room with a towel wrapped around my damp body.
"Check this out". Marjan beamed as I looked down at her sitting on the floor with our daughter using the coffee table as support to stand up.
"Come to mama". Marjan encouraged Jasmine who was grinning at her.
"Come on, show mommy what we've been practicing". She cooed reaching her arms out towards her.
Jasmine giggled at her before letting go of the table with one hand before taking a wobbly step towards Marjan making me smile brightly.
"That's it. Come on". She beamed as Jasmine took another step and then another and finally collapsed into Marjan's arms.
"Yay! You did it". Marjan cheered picking her up and smothering her cheek with kisses causing the toddler to squeal happily.
"Jasmine just took her first steps". I chuckled sitting down on the couch behind them before taking her from Marjan's arms.
"I'm so proud of you, baby!" I cooed kissing her cheek and she smiled at me.
"You're getting so big aren't you, baby?" Marjan cooed looking at our daughter.
"Your aunties and your uncle are gonna be so happy when we tell them". I smiled making her coo.
"Our party crasher was he covered in frostbite?" Owen questioned as we arrived at the grave site where our call was located.
"First officer on scene thought it was rigor". Carlos answered walking alongside Owen with us towing behind.
"Yeah. Probably a stowaway. We're right in the flight path. Sometimes those guys ride in the wheel well. Used to get 'em all the time at JFK". Owen explained.
"He probably dropped when the landing gear came down". Tommy commented looking up at the sky.
"Oh, Silvio!" The grieving widow cried as she stood a few feet away from her dead husband's body laying across the stowaway.
"No respiration. No pulse, Cap". TK confirmed checking over the Stowaway before looking at Tommy.
"I don't need to check the other guy, do I?" He questioned.
"No, I think we're good". She answered giving him a look making me smile to myself.
"You'd think that the one place the crazy of this world might let you alone would be your own casket, but nope". Judd commented looking down at the dead guy before looking up at me.
"I'll call this in to the ME's office". Tommy stated before walking away.
"Hey, guys, let's cover him up before the ME gets here". Owen ordered making me nod before walking towards Marjan and Paul before bending down towards the bag.
"Can you imagine the stones it would take to stow away under a plane?" Paul spoke as he bent down to our level.
"People get displaced by corruption, hunger, violence. They're desperate". Marjan sighed as we pulled out the tarps to cover the bodies with.
"Truth". Mateo agreed as Marjan and I opened the Tarp.
"But how'd he ever think he was gonna survive this?" He added as we placed the tarp over them.
"You'd be surprised. Almost 25% of them do". I answered.
"Hold up. Look at this hand". Paul spoke and we looked towards whatever he was looking at.
