2100: Part One

"And the second opinion confirms it. You are officially in remission". T.k announced placing the cake in front of Owen as I stood next to Marjan with Jasmine on her hip.

"Congratulations, Dad". He added.

"Yay!" Gwyneth cheered, making us clap.

"All right!" Tommy cheered

"Tumor slayer!" Marjan yelled.

"Way to go, Cap". I smiled.

"About time we had some good news around here". Judd added.

"Whole lotta folks been praying for you, Captain". Grace smiled.

"Well, I appreciate that". Owen said smiling at her.

"Um, but this is the ugliest cake I've ever seen. What--" He said looking down at the cake making us laugh.

"Why-- why does it look like this?" He asked.

"It's your tumor". T.k answered.

"It's my tumor? " He asked confused.

"It's your tumor a year ago". I stated.

"When it was bad". Mateo added.

"I gave your scans to the bakery." T.K said making Gwyn chuckle.

"I objected". Paul said from behind him making me laugh.

"Okay, I'm-- I'm both repulsed.. and moved. Um, and, uh, I'm at a loss". Owen smiled.

"A 73% loss". T.K clarified.

"Whoo!" I cheered.

"Now you are just one surgery away from that cancer being completely gone." T.k smiled.

"Yes!" Gwyn cheered as we began applauding him.

Paul went over to hug him and I smiled down at Jasmine as Marjan gave her a little piece of cake.

"How is it baby?" I cooed at her making her smile and I laughed before kissing her on her cheek.

I looked up at Marjan and she winked at me, making me smile and peck her lips.

"Cass, Marj, come take some selfies with us!" Nancy called and I turned to look at her before walking over.

"Where's my niece at?" Judd called getting up off the chair beside his wife to approach us.

Jasmine looked at him with the biggest smile before extending her arms towards him, making him chuckle as he took her in his arms.

Marjan and I went back to taking selfies with Nancy, Tim and Mateo as Judd sat down with Grace and Tommy with Jazzie in his arms.

Marjan pulled me aside and I looked at her confused.

"Judd has Jasmine for a few minutes before she starts crying for us, want to take advantage?" She whispered in my ear and I smiled before grabbing her hand and sneaking off towards the fire truck.

I let out a little giggle as Marjan pushed me against the side of the truck and connected her lips to mine in a fiery kiss. My hands went around her neck as her left hand grabbed onto my waist and her right one brought my leg up to wrap around her waist.

She broke the kiss and began nipping and sucking on my neck causing my head to rest against the truck with my eyes closed.

"Babe, we carry on doing this, you might get me pregnant again". I joked making her grunt.

"We make cute babies anyway". She stated before roughly attaching her lips to mine again.

She started unbuttoning my shirt as she trailed kisses down my throat and neck before being interrupted by someone laughing.
