Aly's POV:

The thick glass of the cell began to rise, allowing Garmadon to escape his prison. Before he could get far though, the others circled him, escorting him outside to the bounty.

Once on board, Lloyd told his father that he had free roam of the ship, as long as he didn't interfere with our work. Garmadon agreed and vanished elsewhere on the Bounty.

Nya set a course for the main point of the city so the dark mist could be examined closer by Garmadon. The ride there was slow, but the view of the fluffy white clouds made it worthwhile.

"How far, Nya?" Cole asked her. "We're going as fast as we can. But this ship needs some fine tuning for sure." She sighed as the ship steadily rocked back and forth in the clear blue sky. It was calming up there, but knowing that the Lord of Darkness was close by didn't ease the tension.

The others were up at the control station, keeping an eye out if anything were to pop up: Distress calls or more suspicious activity. I however just leaned against the edge of the ship, watching the clouds float by effortlessly.

This wasn't what I'd thought we'd be doing. I thought we'd be going on some sort of an adventure for my first mission, but it was unusually calm.

Jay exclaimed as Garmadon peered his head over the boy's shoulder, and slowly backed away. "Am I the only one freaking out about this?" Jay whispered, trying not to grab his attention. "Why Freak out?" Kai sarcastically said in a low tone. "Our deranged, psychotic arch-nemesis is now our house guest."

"I find the term freak out inadequate and imprecise. I prefer to say I am deeply troubled." Zane added, also whispering. "Well at least we all feel the same way about this." I sighed.

"Lloyd, are you sure he can be trusted?" Nya asked him. "No. of course not." He replied, sounding like this was a day-to-day thing for him. "Of course not? That's not what you're supposed to say!" Jay whisper-shouted. "You're supposed to say yes!"

Garmadon was lurking behind us, examining the various blinking buttons and tempting switches. "What choice do we have? If Master Wu is right, and we're under attack by the Oni, then my father may be our best chance. And anyway, he doesn't have his powers back." Lloyd reassured us. "So how much trouble can he really cause?"

Suddenly, the ships jets stopped and the sails folded back up. We all stared towards the back of the ship, to where Garmadon was walking away as if nothing had happened.

"Did he just turn off the...?" Zane was cut off by the sudden jerking of the ship

We suddenly, started falling from the sky.

"Oh, great!" Cole huffed, as the others began to scream.

I was launched into the back wall while everyone else clung onto the railings.

"He shut off the engines! We're gonna crash!" Jay shouted, holding onto Kai's foot.

"Zane hit the ignition switch! Hit the ignition switch!" Nya ordered him.

Zane listened, and began to climb over to the switch, but Kai had lost his grip, launching himself and Jay right into the Nindroid, sending him to the other side of the control panel.

"Aah! I can see the ground!" Jay shouted, as the ground got ever closer. "It's getting close really fast!"

Zane emerged to the other side, slowly making his way to the switch. But he was struggling.

He isn't going to make it.

I eyed the switch, lining myself up.

We almost hit the ground when I pushed off the back wall, and slammed my fist into the switch, bringing the ships engines back to life.
