3 Months Later:

Aly's POV:

Ok, so...It's been a while since Master Wu and Misako left for their expedition. And when I say a while, I mean around 3 months, I think.

I know this because so many events, be it birthdays or anniversaries have happened since they've been gone and we're all worried about them. We've tried contacting anyone out on their mission, but no one's answered.

Also, it didn't help that a bunch of Kryptarium inmates broke free last month. We'd been trying to look for them, but we hadn't found anything. Lloyd however, had been staying up the past few nights trying to look for them.

We could tell he was stressed about his mother and uncle being missing, but there wasn't much we could do since we couldn't contact them.

The rest of us were having breakfast in the Monastery when something Green came rushing through the halls. "Was that Lloyd?" Kai wondered, setting down his cereal before walking over to where his friend rushed to.

By the time Kai came back with Lloyd, Pixal was also with them, as well as the man I recognised from the Explorers Club. He was carrying a large box filled with paperwork and other bits and bobs.

"Hey, aren't you the guy from the Explorers Club?" Nya asked him, earning a nod.

"Cecil Putnam, manager of the Explorers Club. I regret to inform you that Misako Montgomery Garmadon's membership has been cancelled, effective immediately. Here are the items emptied from her club locker." He blurted out, handing Lloyd the box. But none of this made any sense.

"On what grounds?" Zane asked. "I'm afraid it's club policy. Whenever a member is missing and presumed lost at sea, the club revokes their membership." Cecil explained, still not making any sense. "What are you talking about?" Nya spoke up, but the man brushed it off calmly.

"Oh there's no need for panic. Her position will be given to another worthy applicant. The club will prevail." He smiled, but Lloyd was clearly pissed off.

"I'm not worried about the club! I'm worried about my mother and Master Wu! Where are they? Where did they go?" Lloyd shouted, demanding to know since she hadn't told us.

"She went to lead an expedition with Clutch Powers to attempt to navigate the Storm Belt, and prove her theory about an Uncharted Island." Cecil explained. "Why did she not tell us this before leaving?" I wondered, remembering how Misako told us little about this.

"But as we haven't heard from her in several weeks, the expedition is presumed lost." The man told us, which Pixal seemed to know. "The storm belt? What was she thinking?" She gasped. "You know about it?" Cole asked her. "Yes. But I can explain in detail in the hangar bay."

Lloyd quickly escorted Cecil Putnam out of the Monastery, and rushed to the elevator. We could see how upset and angry he was. So we entered the elevator and went down to the hanger bay.

Pixal quickly rushed up to the main computer, and punched in the information about the Storm Belt.

"What does it say?" Lloyd asked as Pixal looked over the information and showed us a map of where it was located. "The storm belt is an area off the Southern Coast, plagued by violent storms. Numerous ships and airplanes have gone missing in the region. It is considered very dangerous." She explained.

"To my knowledge, there is only one person ever to emerge from the Storm Belt." Zane spoke up. "Really?" I gasped, realising how dangerous this place was.

"Yes. A man named Timothy Batterson. Batterson was part of a balloon tour which was blown off course. He claimed it was blown into a Storm Belt and eventually crashed, on an uncharted island." Pixal finished, slumping into her chair.
