A few weeks after the accident:
Aly's POV:
So...The past couple of weeks have been, interesting.
After we returned home from the Island I still wasn't in great shape so I stayed in bed a lot of the time. I didn't want to, but Zane insisted I should so I could recover.
I was told I had a procedure to remove the water in my lungs which I don't remember. But it all went well apparently so that's a piece of good news.
But almost drowning isn't a pleasant experience I'll say that. And I could tell how scared it made the others.
But once I had mostly recovered, I had to do various exercises so I could go back to being a Ninja. Breathing exercises, training, the regular. I didn't think almost drowning could do this to a person, yet here we are.
I couldn't thank Lloyd and Zane enough for what they did though. They saved my life and without them, I'd probably be dead back at the Island.
But who really wants to know about that?
Where were we?
Oh right...
After all off the exercises and training, I was finally able to go back on missions. I had missed out on so many, but now I could finally go back.
We had been told a group of trucks were speeding through villages, looking quite suspicious. So we were called to deal with them.
Lloyd ran through the plan, and we knew what we had to do.
We drove down to the trucks next suspected location, and waited. Lloyd, Jay and Kai disguised themselves as rice farmers so they could get close to the suspects. Cole waited from afar with his Rock Cycle, ready for when Lloyd needed him.
And, Nya, Zane and I were tasked to wait along the hills, in case the trucks decided to make a run for it. It was good to have the team split up since we could stay hidden and come out if one group failed.
So this should've been a piece of cake.
The three of us watched the trucks from afar, seeing a woman jumping out and throwing fire at a group of criminals I assumed she was working with. But that's when Lloyd and the others revealed themselves, and started fighting the woman. She tried to burn the boys, but the trucks started driving away.
"Uh, think that's our que?" I asked. "Yep. Be ready guys." Nya responded, watching the trucks carefully. But that's when Cole came speeding around the corner. The trucks spread out, about to ram him. But Cole had a better idea.
He lifted up his bike and shot two blasts at the trucks, making two of them spin out and crash. But the third one almost crushed Cole, luckily he managed to get out of the way.
The final truck was making its way towards. The three of us flipped up our hoods, and started running along the hills.
"Nya, Zane, Aly, they're headed your way. Cut them off. We'll catch up." Lloyd radioed to us, giving us the signal. "We're on it." Nya responded as we ran slightly ahead of the trucks.
"Nya, we need a little water power." Lloyd spoke up, making us look back at the truck which was gaining on us. "I'm on it." Nya responded. "Zane, Aly, get ready. As soon as Nya douses the truck, flash freeze everything!" Lloyd told us. "Affirmative." Zane responded. "You got it." I added.
We jumped from the hills ahead of the truck. Nya stood forwards using her powers. "Here goes!" Nya called out, creating a giant spiral of water. "Now! Hit the truck!" Lloyd shouted, rushing over to us with the others in tow. Nya moved the water close to the truck, about to hit it when the tornado spun right past. "Nya, drop it on the truck!" Lloyd shouted, but Nya was struggling. "I'm trying. It's not obeying!" She told us as the tornado kept flying all over the place.
