Aly's POV:

"Aly."

I felt someone nudge me, but I really didn't want to get up now.

"Aly."

"Ngh, what?" I groggily spoke, still with my eyes closed.

"I would like to talk to you."

"About what?" I groaned, keeping my eyes closed.

"Your training."

"Huh?" I opened my eyes, and looked to who was talking to me. It was Zane. I quickly sat up, and turned to him. "W-what about my training?" I asked, wondering why he was bringing this up now.

"It has been a while since your last session, and being in dead's end, we were unable to give you the opportunity to train." He told me, standing up. "I thought that we could train before Faith and the others wake up, as she would want to keep going as soon as we are all up."

He did have a point. But was Zane suggesting we trained with just the two of us? I began to get nervous, but I tried to push past that.

I looked around, and noticed the others were still asleep. The sky was a very faint blue, signifying it was quite early in the morning.

"Don't we need the others?" I asked him as he walked out to an open area. "Do not worry. I have it covered." Zane used his powers to create four large ice pillars, which would replace the others. "Are you ready?" He asked as I stepped in the middle of the pillars.

I took a deep breath. "I'm ready."

I starting doing what I did before; hitting the targets in a clockwise motion.

As I picked up the pace, the pillars started to break, making the small shards of ice fly around me. As well as that, snowflakes started forming.

"Good. Now try to tap into your elemental power." Zane told me.

I focused on my power, and brought it to my hands. As I moved through the motions, a cold mist flew from my hands, eventually creating a barrier between me and the world.

"You are almost there."

I kept going and going, until a tornado started to form around me. I began to feel dizzy, but I pushed past it until I was fully surrounded by ice.

"Aly, you did it!"

I was amazed that I was actually doing it, and managed to hold it for a while before breaking the motion. I stood there, very dizzy, but I couldn't believe it. "I just did Spinjitzu." I gasped, smiling to myself. Zane nodded, also smiling.

"Now, I would like you to perform it, without aid." Zane removed the pillars, leaving me to do this on my own. I remembered the motions, and started spinning.

I managed to perform Spinjitzu again, and even started moving around, leaving a trail of ice behind me. "You've got it." Zane exclaimed, and I stopped spinning again.

I looked over to Zane, and smiled. "Thank you." "It was no problem." He responded. "You are now one step closer to becoming a Ninja." We started to walk back to the others, but it seemed like there was more I needed to do to actually become a Ninja.

"What else do I need to do to become a Ninja?" I asked. "Unlock your true potential. Thought it is not required." He told me. "You can still be a Ninja without unlocking it, but it is a great achievement to overcome." "What is a true potential?" I asked, sitting down near the others.

"It is difficult to explain. But myself and the others unlocked it after overcoming obstacles which held us back." He started. "For example, I unlocked my True Potential after discovering my past and who I truly was."
