3rd Person POV:

Nya woke up chained to a pole in the temple. She looked behind her to find her mother unconscious and connected to Nya's chains. "Mom? Mom, are you okay?" She asked, shaking the chains and waking her up. "What happened? Where are we?" Maya groggily asked, unsure.

"The Temple of Wojira." Nya responded, taking a look at where they were. "Wojira? Wojira's a myth about a giant sea serpent." Maya told her, but that wasn't true. "It's not a myth. On our last adventure, we found proof. We found an ancient amulet on an island. The Storm Amulet. It belonged to Wojira. It was being protected by the Keepers of the-"

"Go on, pray tell."

Nya was interrupted when Kalmaar showed himself, slowly approaching the two. "About these Keepers, about the Storm Amulet." Nya raised an eyebrow at him, not knowing extatically who he was. "I am Prince Kalmaar, son of Trimaar, heir to the throne of Merlopia, rightful ruler of the Endless Sea, and I assure you, not someone to be trifled with." He bared his teeth at Nya, getting in her face.

"Well, it's nice to meet you!" Maya spoke up, breaking the tension. "Don't be nice to him, Mom! He's the one who blasted us in the back!" Nya told her, unimpressed. "I'm sure that was just a tiny misunderstanding. We are trespassing in his temple." Maya noted, and Kalmaar smiled to himself, happy that this human knew his authority.

"Mom! He's evil!" Nya shouted, making Kalmaar lose his smile. "Nya! He can hear you!" Maya shot back, but Kalmaar wasn't going to have this. "Silence! Both of you!" He shouted, making them both quiet down.

"Tell me the location of this island, and I will spare your lives." "What island?" Nya bluntly asked, pretending to not know. "The Island of the Keepers!" Kalmaar yelled.

"Keepers of what?" Nya asked, playing dumb and pushing the prince's buttons. "The Storm Amulet! T-The amulet you were just—" Kalmaar was losing him temper, but Nya just smiled at him, smugly. "Ha! I will ask one last time. Where is the island?" Kalmaar demanded.

"Save your breath, Calamari. I'm not telling you anything." Nya smiled to herself, but Kalmaar had had enough. "That's Kalmaar." He turned to them with his trident powered up and pointed at Nya.

"My prince!"

Kalmaar's attack was directed from Nya, and instead shot the top of the pole they were chained too, creating a gap. "Forgive me, my lord. Did I startle you?" A green Merlopian bowed to Kalmaar, and he sighed. "Of course not. What do you want, Gripe?" Kalmaar demanded, trying to not look startled when he clearly was.

"The King requests your presence in the palace. At once!" Gripe informed him, making Kalmaar groan. "Oh, saved by my meddling father. I look forward to continuing our discussion when I return." Kalmaar turned to the girls, soon leaving the temple.

In the Hydro Bounty:

"Nya! Nya, come in!" Aly was trying to reach them, but she couldn't reach them. "How much air supply do they have?" Lloyd asked, walking over. "Down there, around and hour." She told them. "An hour?! We have to help them!" Jay got up and rushed to the door. "We have to get this sub fixed and go after them! I-I'm going to zap the battery!" He insisted with his hands filled with lightning.

"That would be exceedingly dangerous. The engine room is partially flooded. Even if you could survive it, a charge of that magnitude will be fatal." Zane insisted, but they were running out of options. "We don't have a choice!" Jay shot back. "He's right. And if we're starting to fill with water how long will it be before the sub fills?" Morro asked, worried.

"I have an idea, but I have no clue if it would work." Aly spoke up, turning to a monitor. "Any other option would be great." Lloyd responded, making the girl sigh and look over the ships systems. "We could reroute power from Life Support and Auxiliary to jumpstart the battery. But I don't know if it'll be enough."
