Aly's POV:

The four of us walked for a few more hours, until we saw a familiar little gas station. "There it is!" Kai exclaimed, running towards it with the rest of us close behind.

When we made it to the station, it was quiet, but it was like that the last time we came here...well...sort of. We entered the building, and found our old friend Twitchy at the register. He looked half-asleep, so we slowly approached him. "Hey, Twitchy..." I slowly waved, and he opened his eyes. "Gah!" He suddenly fell off his chair, before hopping back up with a smile.

"Hiya, fellas! Say, you're the Ninja!" He gasped, and we nodded. "Zane, Aly, and Kai, right?" Twitchy pointed to each of us, remembering our names. "I am surprised you remember our names, Twitchy. It is good to see you again." Zane told him, making the man smile. "It's good to see you too. What brings you all out here?" Twitchy wondered, but it was going to be hard to explain.

"We uh, got lost on a mission." Kai lied. "Yeah. It's hard to find your way out here." I added, noticing Zane looking confused, but he stayed silent. "Oh, well you're welcome to stay as long as you'd like." Twitchy told us before turning to a small fridge. "Would you fellas like a drink?" He offered, and we couldn't resist.

"Oh, yes please!" Dareth quickly rushed to the fridge, and pulled out some drinks, handing them to each of us. We soon wandered back outside, and sat on the balcony to wait for Lloyd, Jay, and Cole.

A little while later, and Kai had just finished his third water. "Ah, that hits the spot. I feel great!" He sighed, leaning back to lie on the deck. "You can say that again." I told him while taking a sip from my bottle.

"Ah, look! They made it!" Zane spoke up, making Kai and I look up and ahead of us. "Well. Isn't that a sight for sore eyes." Kai spoke as he stood up. Cole looked up, and started running straight for Kai with his arms out. "Heh hey, buddy. Glad to see you too-okay...?" Kai was about to hug him, but he ran straight past, and tried to drink from Kai's empty bottle.

"Water. Water! Water!" Cole quickly ran inside, in search of water. "Well, okay then." I sighed, turning back to Lloyd and Jay who walked over to us. "Well, I'll be tickled pink! If it ain't my friends, the ninja! How you doing, Lloyd? Jay?" Twitchy sprang from his seat, clearly happy to see them again.

"Twitchy! I wasn't sure you'd remember us!" Lloyd admitted. "Oh, I've been practicing ways to remember! Like when someone tells me something, I repeat it back three times, real slow. And-" Purple lighting started to run through Twitchy's hair, and he shuddered before stopping. "-and...what was I saying?" He asked, but Jay just chuckled. "Nothing. Good to see you, Twitchy." "Come on in and get something cold to drink." Twitchy opened the door, and we all walked in.

Cole was sat on the counter, drinking two bottles of water at once. We didn't stop him, we could tell he needed it. Lloyd looked around, seemingly making sure we were all there. "I'd like to run through a plan we came up with." He announced, drawing our attention. "About the Crystal King, of course."

As the others gathered around the counter, I froze, realising something. "So, let's start with...Aly?" Lloyd noticed, making everyone stare at me. "Is everything alright?" Zane asked concerned. "I..." I tried to gather my words. "Do you remember, when Kabuki Mask came to invite me to the council?" I asked them, and they nodded.

"Kabuki Mask was supposed to be coming back for my answer today...and I'm not at Kryptarium." I told them, blankly staring at nothing. "W-well, I'm sure he can send a crystal spider to you. Right?" Jay suggested, but that wouldn't be the case. "I doubt it. Kabuki Mask said if I didn't have an answer for him by today...then I'd pay dearly." I sighed, knowing this was it for me. "Since I'm not there to give him an answer, he'd assume I haven't decided...so..."
