Recap:
Masters Never Quit:

Cole, Wu, Vania and the Upply had been traveling through the caves when they were chased down by the magma monster again. They managed to escape via an old mineshaft track, and to a cave only accessible with Earth Elemental Power.

Inside was a statue of Cole's mother, which told her story in the rocks as well as a giant stone mech.

The team were unsure where to go from there, and were in the verge of giving up, but Fungus was able to see what was happening to the Ninja, and the team knew they had to do something.

Aly's POV:

We kept running from Grief-Bringer, and the Skull Sorcerer's army had managed to cross the lava, and were now hot on our tails. "That horrible cry...That's Grief-Bringer, the dragon! No mistake." Murtessa shouted. "You said Grief-Bringer was killed by some great hero!" Nya shot back. "It was! It's back! The Skull Sorcerer must have reanimated it!" Murtessa called out as we kept running.

I noticed Gulch was struggling to keep up, but he was trying to tell us something "What?" Kai yelled. "The....the Strong-Cave! It's our...our only hope!" Gulch panted, pointing to a large cave up ahead. "Oh, thank the First Spinjitzu Master!" I sighed. "Finally some good news."

I rushed into the cave with the others behind me. We had seemed to have lost Grief-Bringer, but it wouldn't be long before they would catch up.

"Seal the cave! Now!" Kai called out, making two Geckles rush to a wheel and turn it. A large stone door began to fall over the cave opening, but it suddenly stopped. "It's stuck!" A Geckle called out, just as the army started marching towards us. "Forget the wheel! Cut the chain!" Nya shouted, grabbing her new spear and hitting it against the chain.

Murtessa, Murt and Kai started to help her, but their efforts weren't enough since the Skull Sorcerer was growing closer. "They're not going to get it shut in time." Lloyd announced. "Then we better buy them some time!" Jay responded, grasping his new flail and bringing out his shield.

Lloyd did the same while pulling out his shield and sword. Zane loaded his crossbow and brought out his shield while I grasped one of my daggers and shield.

The four of us flipped up our new hoods and stood outside of the cave, ready to face the army. One by one we stood up in a row with our shields out, making a wall.

Lloyd: "You..."

Jay: "Shall..."

Aly: "Not..."

Zane: "Be granted permission to traverse beyond this point."

The three of us looked to Zane with utter disappointment. He innocently looked to us, unaware of what he did.

We really needed to teach Zane about pop-culture.

But the four of us were caught off guard when Grief-Bringer roared and the skeleton army ran straight for us.

"Ninja-GO!"

The four of us started to use Spinjitzu, and slowly but surely take out the skeletons. A large group were about to throw their vengestone spears at us, but I slid forward with my shield out. Lloyd ran and jumped on my shield, allowing me to give him a boost and quickly protect myself from oncoming attacks.

Lloyd was able to get close enough to the army that he could throw his shield and take out a large number of them.

The four of us began to charge the army again, using Spinjitzu and our weapons to destroy them, one by one. We were able to make it to Grief-Bringer, but we were unsure what to do from there.
