Aly's POV:

It was quiet in the bridge, with almost everyone staring at Morro. "How are you here?" Nya asked him, starting the conversation. "While we were in the Never-Realm..." I started, sparing Morro from talking. "...Apparently Master Wu and Pixal had opened up a portal to the departed realm, which unleashed the Preeminent. Morro told me he came through to talk with you guys, but since we weren't there he just stayed hidden in the Monastery."

"Then why didn't you show yourself after we came back?" Jay wondered, and I let my friend do the talking. "You guys didn't seem too happy. And Aly told me about it soon after. I was nervous to talk to you guys in case you decided to kill me." He sighed. "So I stayed hidden, only talking to Aly since we hadn't met before."

"Morro, you could have spoken to us. We would not have harmed you." Zane told him, losing his pirate tone. "I understand that now." Morro sighed. "But can you please understand why I wanted you to stay at the Monastery. It's dangerous down here, and with the Hydro Bounty like this; who knows what could happen." I added, and he looked down.

"I'm sorry." He sighed, understanding. "Just, please don't possess me again. It wasn't fun." Lloyd spoke up, making the ghost chuckle. "I won't don't worry. The only thing I'm focused on, is sorting out our powers." He turned to Nya, and she nodded. "And to do that we need to fix the Bounty."

Nya stood up, and walked to the door. "I'm gonna go check the engines; see if I can fix anything." She then walked out, with her mother close behind. "Should we follow her?" Lloyd asked, and the rest of us nodded. "Morro could you stay here and alert us if anything happens?" I asked him, tossing him a spare earpiece. "Of course." He responded, taking a seat.

Lloyd, Jay, Zane and I quickly and quietly followed Nya down to the engine room. We didn't enter, but we could hear her and her mom talking.

"It's not the piston, Mom. It's the battery, okay? It's dead. Look. Isn't there something else you could be doing?"

"I'm here to help you, dear!"

"I don't need help! I've been doing just fine for a long time. The whole time you were gone, and Kai and I were on our own, raising ourselves? Remember that time?"

"You know that your father and I didn't have any choice about that. We were imprisoned, and..."

"Oh, I know, Mom, I know! I'm not saying it's your fault, I'm just saying- It's a bit late to help now. I'm not a little girl anymore, okay?"

We heard someone coming close to the door, and we quickly moved out of the way. Jay grabbed a plunger and Lloyd started fiddling with a pressure wheel just as Nya walked out. We all smiled at her, trying to not look suspicious. "Great. You guys heard all that?" She asked.

"Uh, heard what?" Jay responded. "No, we, um..." Lloyd continued to turn the wheel when water started spewing out and into his face. He managed to turn it off, and we all looked to Nya again. "Yes, we did." Zane told her, and I lightly elbowed him in response. Nya quickly walked down the hall, avoiding us.

"Zane, I think we need to adjust your honesty circuits." Jay walked up to him, and rammed the plunger into his face. But since he was metal, it stuck like glue. Zane tried to get it off, but it wouldn't budge. "Really, Jay?" I asked, trying not to laugh. "What? It's not good to be honest all the time!" Jay shot back, and I shook my head with a smile.

"Okay, Zane, hold still." I grabbed the plunger, and started to pull. But it still wouldn't come off. "There's a toolbox upstairs." Lloyd spoke up, which seemed like our only option. "Zane we're going to the bridge, alright?" I told him, and he nodded. I took his hand and led him upstairs with the others.
