Secret of the Wolf...

3rd Person POV:

The ice Samurai who were sent to destroy the Ninja had finally returned to their Master with good news.

Or, what they thought was good news.

Grimfax walked through the castle halls and into the throne room, where The Ice Emperor and Vex waited patiently for their return.

"Hauk, Emperor of Ice. The legion of the Ice Empress returns in triumph. Victory is yours." Grimfax stated, bowing with his army at his back. He took a quick glance up to his Emperor to find that the Empress had not returned yet, which made him worry.

The room was silent until Vex slowly started clapping.

"Haul indeed, brave Grimfax. Tell us of your great victory, for you left with so many more samurai than you brought back." Vex noticed how many soldiers there were left, also finding it strange that the Empress was not with them.

"It is true, the battle was fierce. The villagers have protectors. Strangers who fight bravely. But we won in the end." Grimfax stated proudly.

"Did you slay these, strangers?" Vex asked with an eyebrow raised. "Better, we snuffed out their fire. Without it, they are lost." Grimfax told him, but Vex knew otherwise.

"Ah. Snuffed out their fire, you say?" Vex questioned him, walking beside the man who nodded. "Then why is it, when I look through my crystal, I see it is still burning." Vex took out his ice crystal, and showed Grimfax the state of the fire.

It was indeed still alight.

"What?! Impossible." Grimfax gasped. "You bring news of defeat and dare to call it victory?" Vex spat. "And you return without the Ice Empress. Punish him my lord, for his deceit."

The Ice Emperor awoke from his still state, acknowledging that his Empress was not there. He broke away from his thrown with a quiet anger, pointing his staff at his general.

A powerful ice beam was shot at Grimfax, slowly consuming him in ice. "Wait, please!" "Yes. Punish him." Vex chuckled. "I know where the Empress is!" Grimfax shouted, making the Emperor lower his staff.

He thought before talking. "You will atone for this, by finding her." He removed the ice surrounding Grimfax, allowing him to live.

"Yes, Ice Emperor. Thank you." Grimfax shivered, grateful to not have been killed. "If you do not find her. There will be, hell to pay." The Emperor said with slight anger in his voice. "Now, leave me."

Grimfax and his men quickly ran out of the throne room, leaving The Emperor and Vex alone.

"What of the villagers who defy you? They plot even now, to overthrow you." Vex told his Emperor as he turned back to his chair. "And the stranger, in green, he grows closer every day. What of him?"

"Green?" The Emperor mumbled, finding something somewhat odd about this stranger. "Yes. And I believe, he has The Empress." Vex slyly spoke, making the Emperor raise his head in fury.

"You are plagued by enemies who seek to overthrow you, and take what is yours. They rise. You must show strength, you must put down these usurpers to keep what is rightfully yours."

The Emperor turned to Vex with an unpleased look under his mask. "I shall unleash Boreal. Boreal shall punish the village and find My Empress."

"And the stranger?" Vex asked, curious to know his fate.

"He will meet another fate for taking her from me." The Ice Emperor announced, feeling the scrolls power fuel him with anger and power.
