3rd Person POV:

Not long after the Ninja made the decision to go after Aspheera, they realised she'd have to be let out of Kryptarium. As well as this, her staff would need to be collected from Borg Tower. They weren't sure how they would obtain both Aspheera and her staff, but Pixal suggested that they go to the Mayor and ask, since they had a good reason.

So, the Ninja set off for Ninjago city again, to pay the new Mayor a visit. But Zane and Aly stayed behind with Pixal, to keep Nya frozen until the others came back with Aspheera and her staff.

Ninjago City:

In the Mayor's office, Mayor Trustable had set up a small golf set in the corner. He was making sure the ball was lined up perfectly before standing back up to take the shot. He readied his swing, and lifted his golf club to take the shot. But just as he swung, his assistant Dwayne burst through the door.

"Mayor Trustable?!"

The gold ball went flying across the room, hitting various objects before flying towards Dwayne's face. But surprisingly, he managed to catch it. "Uh, the ninja are here to see you." "The ninja, the ninja. What do they want?" The Mayor huffed getting out another ball while trying to think of an excuse. "Tell 'em I'm not here. Better yet, tell 'em I'm out sick. I got a cold."

"We can see you, sir." Lloyd spoke up, standing in the doorway with Kai, Jay and Cole. The Mayor immediately realised which group of Ninja it was, and his mood completely changed. "Oh, ho ho! Those ninja! Hehe. Why didn't you say so? Come on in, fellas! Sorry about the mix up." The Ninja walked in, and the Mayor quickly turned to Dwayne.

"What's the matter with you keeping these guys waiting?" He snatched his ball from Dwayne, and looked to the Ninja again. "Hehe. What can I do for you?" "Well, sir, it's about our friend Nya." Lloyd started. "She's the heart of our team. And we thought we lost her defending Ninjago." Jay admitted. "But we just discovered we have a chance to save her and bring her back." Cole put it bluntly as the Mayor turned to his golf set again.

"Ah, that's great. Really, really great. I'm gonna play through, but keep talking. I'm listening." "But we need Aspheera's help, so we have to let her out of Kryptarium." Lloyd told him, and the man stopped upon hearing her name. "A-Aspheera? A-As in, Aspheera who destroyed half the city with a lava serpent army Aspheera?"

"Yeah! Her!" Jay enthusiastically responded. "Oh, and we also need her staff, which is locked up at Borg Tower. She can't use her powers without it." "Yeah nope." The Mayor quickly dismissed the idea, but the Ninja couldn't have that. "Look, we know Aspheera is dangerous. But we'll be watching her the entire time! We promised to protect Ninjago." Cole tried to convince him, but it wasn't working too well.

"Like you protected it from that video game thing. And the giant sea serpent. And those creepy black clouds?" "Yes! Exactly." Jay smiled, making Kai sigh. "Wow. You are really good at picking up on sarcasm." "Thanks, Kai!"

The Master of Fire rolled his eyes at his friend, not believing him. "Sir, please. We need to help Nya. After all she's done for the city, we owe it to her!" Lloyd insisted, but the Mayor, once again, was against it. "And I owe it to all the little people who voted for me, not to let one of the worst villains in this city's history out of prison." The Mayor made his decision final, and sternly looked at each of the Ninja.

"Now if you don't mind, I gotta get back to work." The Mayor turned back to his golf set, lining up the ball and club. Lloyd was about to object in an effort to get the man to change his mind, but Cole stopped him. "Forget it, Lloyd. Don't bother."
