Aly's POV:

The Next Day:

This morning was just like yesterdays, only now I had the knowledge that Kabuki Mask would be visiting in three days. We talked about it some more last night, and none of us could decide if I should say yes or no. We don't usually put things off like this, but given the information that Lloyd and I had, there was a lot to take into consideration.

But besides all that, today Lloyd suggested that we try to lay low, and stay out of trouble. So we did. But it got to a point where we were given the option to do activities; reading, sports, paperwork etc. The boys decided they wanted to go play some sports, so they agreed to go, but I wasn't feeling it.

I told them that I wanted to figure out this Kabuki Mask situation, and said I'd rather sit in the yard and meet up with them later. They were unsure, but let me go. So I made my way to the yard, and was greeted by the sun without a cloud in sight.

I sighed, and sat at a bench in the corner. It was oddly quiet, but I think it was mostly because all the more violent criminals were still in their cells, due to there being only one guard on duty. That doesn't mean I was alone though, there were still others around, but they were minding their own business, so I had nothing to worry about.

I recalled what Lloyd said about not using our powers, but there wasn't much else to do. So, I created a small dagger with my powers. Not too big that it would cause suspicion, but small enough to flip around in my hand.

I let my mind wander, but it kept going back to Kabuki Mask. He wanted me to join the Crystal King, whoever that was. But they were assembling villains from our past. I started to think of who it could be, and a few came to mind; The Skull Sorcerer, Aspheera. Others came to mind like Iron Baron, Unagami and the keepers.

But Iron Baron was from the first realm, and dead for that matter. The Keepers weren't evil, they just misunderstood us and our mission. And Unagami was the same, but he just wanted answers.

I thought of Garmadon, but no one knew where he was, so I doubted that the Crystal King would be able to find him. Then, someone else came to mind, and I immediately tried to forget it. She was dead, I saw her. There was no way in the sixteen realms that she'd be back, let alone join them.

It wasn't possible.

I tried to take my mind elsewhere when two people caught my attention, two people who I didn't want to see. Killow and Ultra Violet had just walked through the yard, and looked straight at me. I didn't know what they wanted, but I quickly slipped the ice dagger up my sleeve, hoping they hadn't seen it.

"Aly! Long-time no see." Killow smiled, trying to start a conversation. I sighed. "What do you want?" I asked. "What? We can't just talk?" Killow shot back, still trying to be nice, but I wasn't buying it. "It's been foreeever since we last saw each other." Ultra Violet added, leaning towards me, making me shuffle out of the way.

"So, how's life been treating you? Better than us, eh?" Killow crossed his arms and snickered. "What does it matter to you? I thought you hated me." I shot back. "Oh, why can't we just let bygones be bygones? You're stuck with us for five years remember. Either we get along now or..." Ultra Violet picked up a lone grape that was on the table, and squished it in her hand, making it squirt on my cheek.

"Yeah, hard pass." I wiped my cheek, and stood up. I was going to find the boys when Killow suddenly stood in front of me. "Now, now, we're still talking. It's rude to leave mid-conversation." He told me. "You should know that." "I do, but it's also rude to not let someone leave." I shot back, moving to the side so I could actually leave.
