Hawks POV
As I arrived at endeavours agency for a meeting, I got a few disgusted looks and a few people were disappointed. I could hear several of them talking behind my back.
"He's too young for his job"
"why do the heroes trust him"
"I heard he missed important meetings"
"what do the public see in him"
I hate them all I thought as I walked my way to the conference room. I hesitated outside for a split second before I stepped in.
"HAWKS" Boomed Endeavour "WHERE WERE YOU!!"
"something came up" I said as I felt the eyes of most of the pro heros on my back.
I walked to my seat and sat myself down. And listened to Endeavour drone on and on about something. Until something caught my attention.
"through many sources we have come to realise that the villain Dabi goes missing every couple of months for days at a time, we believe that he may have a omega mate" Endeavour said
Not quite I thought.
"So we have decided to try and find this omega mate and use them as bait, to lure him in and capture him and in seeing how close the league is to him, they will run right into our trap!" He finished
All the pros burst into a round of applause, except me who was trying to hold back a laugh
" Right we only have to find his mate which will be a struggle so we'll have many pros on the look out for this secret lover" he stated "I want Pro hero Hawks and Pro hero Mirko starting the search right now! Off you go"
I got up and saw the rabbit hero getting up as well on the other side of the room we both exited.
"so where we starting Hawks?" asked Mirko in her aggressive but friendly speech
"well some areas Dabi has been spotted around quite a bit is xxxxxxxx-xxxxx and xxxx, so why don't we go to xxxx first" I replied dully.
"alright lets go" she replied "I'll cover ground you cover the rooftops"
"good plan" I agreed "meet you there,"
I took off and she started running.
While I was in the air I called the house phone.
"Hawks isn't here at the moment I'll tell him to call you back" said the cold voice of Dabi on the otherside
"Hi Toya" I said before he could hang up
"o-oh Keigo... Whats the problem?"
"your Dad seems to be under the impression that you as Dabi are an alpha and have an omega mate"
"what!?"
I explained everything in the meeting from realising how many days he took off and how a massive search was going on to find this non existent omega
"I can see where they came from, to be honest" he admitted "I think that the league may have the same Idea as well... They never confronted me about it though"
"Alright... Stay safe Toya" I said before hanging up.
Am I blushing I thought as I flew to the ground of the destination waiting for the arrival of Mirko... No I'm not blushing it's just... Wind burn... Yeah windburn!
A couple minutes later the rabbit hero arrived.
"You ready?" I said
She nodded in agreement and we started our fake hunt for a non existent person.
