In Dakota's life, he was ordinary. He also looked ordinary. He was a good employee, loved by his family, and had a girlfriend. After a terrible misunderstanding, his girlfriend suddenly breaks up with him, his job goes up in smoke, and now his fathe...
Dakota's eyes remained closed as a beep wakened him. He groaned and stretched in his bed, yawning and shivering.
The bright light of the sun made him crack open his eyes but he shields them from the harsh light. He pushed the covers off and got up from the bed. He walked to his desk and turned off the alarm clock, then he started his routine.
He felt nervous and queasy. His girlfriend didn't come over yesterday night and she didn't answer him when he texted or even called. He thought maybe something happened at work and she couldn't tell him she couldn't make it.
He ended up putting up the sushi and going to sleep.
Dakota still felt like something was wrong. He buttons his shirt and fastens his watch.
"Stop worrying Dakota, stop worrying over nothing," he reminds himself as he walks to the kitchen and makes coffee.
He sits on his island chair and takes out his phone, he checks his messages, and he still doesn't see a response from Yoko. He wonders, "What if something bad happened?" He finishes his coffee and leaves for work.
He was walking to work when something weird happened. The bus left earlier than it was supposed to, fortunately, he had gotten up earlier than usual. So he still had extra time to walk to his workplace. As he approached it though he felt more and more sick.
It definitely wasn't something he ate, because he hadn't eaten anything. He sighs and keeps walking.

Feeling nauseated, Dakota walks into his office clutching his briefcase, and shuffles over to his desk in an effort not to let it show.
He sits down and gets ready for work, logging into his computer. He takes out his briefcase, gets his files out, and arranges them. He sets the papers aside and checks his list of clients to assist.
Having selected Sakai Hideki first, he sends them an email saying he's received their email concerning their account not being able to receive money. Once that is done he can move onto the next client, reviewing their email, validating it, and responding.
Later, Dakota quickly finished the last person on his client list, Okano Aika, and started going through the replies of his clients. Based on who responded first, Dakota would focus on that person until the problem was resolved.
He sighs and looks around surprised no one has come up to him giving him their share of work. He shrugs and starts helping his clients.
