In Dakota's life, he was ordinary. He also looked ordinary. He was a good employee, loved by his family, and had a girlfriend. After a terrible misunderstanding, his girlfriend suddenly breaks up with him, his job goes up in smoke, and now his fathe...

The journey to his home was deafeningly quiet.
It was awkward, and Dakota was at a loss for what to do. He cast a shaky glance around, seeing that his father fell asleep and Yuki and her parents appeared to be having a silent conversation.
When he turned to his left, he noticed Freya staring out the window. She was too tall for the car, so her head was slanted. Dakota couldn't help himself and said, "Does your neck hurt?" When she turned to face him, he felt compelled to kiss her again. He swatted the idea away in his head.
Freya made a shaky motion with her head.
Dakota could tell she was telling the truth, but he couldn't tell if she was feeling uncomfortable. He has a frown on his face. "You can rest on my shoulder," he suggests quietly, certain that Freya can hear him. She didn't have to be persuaded much as she quickly rested her head on his shoulder.
Her hand met his, and his body felt—complete...
He knew she wouldn't fall asleep, but he hoped she felt more comfortable now that she wasn't straining her neck.
"We'll be there soon."
His worry and love for Freya overcame his concern of prying eyes. His mother looked at them via the rearview mirror with an inscrutable expression. Yuki, who had grown accustomed to their lovey-doveyness, was looking out the window—but her parents were staring as if this were the rarest moment of their life.
Dakota had a momentary revelation. 'Crap— I'll have to find another location to hide from Freya.'

The vehicle stopped in front of a modern residence. Dakota gently poked Freya's hand, saying, "We're here."
She raised her head just as his mother roused Takai from his slumber. Yuki and her parents got out of the car, and he could hear them complimenting their beautiful home. They lived in a very ordinary area. Dakota reaches over and unlocks their seat belt. Freya simply remained still. He then bent over Freya on his hands and knees to open the door, and a blush crept across his face as Freya lightly patted his butt.
Images of a certain wet dream grace his mind and Dakota almost loses him composure.
He jumped out of the car swiftly, avoiding his father's knowing stare. "*cough* meet us inside and I'll get the bags," Dakota remarks as he walks to the trunk and opens it. The bags were heavy, but not so heavy that he couldn't carry them.
He needed to work out anyway, since he was so weak. He hoped Freya would let him carry these, she seemed to only let him do the bare minimum. She didn't want him to work and get hurt. But Dakota couldn't be lazy his whole life. He felt weird not doing things himself.
