Dakota was honestly rethinking this whole pregnancy thing. Well he wasn't actually but he seriously didn't know what he was signing up for. Dakota was currently in the library. Freya to his request had supplied the library with Japanese fiction books for him to read in his spare time.
He was tucked between two bookshelves, a book in one hand and his other resting on his belly. His belly bulged through his shirt at this point. He had no way of ever hiding how pregnant he was.
Dakota was reading out loud. He'd read somewhere that reading a book to your baby still in the womb would form a bond. So he was reading a fiction book about a time traveling alien who lives in a phone booth.
It was Interesting. Dakota looked at his watch and groaned. "Ugh, it's almost time little guy. Freya's probably already getting angry."
Freya was most likely at this moment storming around the castle looking for him. She was possessive as ever, never leaving his side, brushing his hair, clothing him, feeding him. Dakota appreciated it but Freya doesn't have a limit to her pampering.
Dakota is a little afraid he might become too spoiled. So he hides from her every once in a while. It drives her nuts and Dakota has time to have fun before she always catches his scent.
He slowly lifts himself up, holding his stomach and trying his hardest. "God its way easier sitting down then getting up."
He waddles from between book shelves and places the book back where it belongs. He rubs circles on his belly. "We'll finish that book later little one."
He suddenly feels breathing down his neck which sends shivers down his spine. He spins around, "Freya!" He announces with a sheepish smile.
She did not look happy. Well she didn't really display a lot of emotions but Dakota of course could tell how she was feeling.
"Kitten." She calls lowly.
Dakota smiles again in hopes of using his smile to lessen her anger.
Her eyes only harden as she stalks him. Dakota gulps, backing away. It wasn't long till his back hits a bookshelf. Her hand touches and rubs his belly. Dakota's smiles in happiness feeling her warmth spread throughout him.
"Why must you keep me worrying all the time?" She let's out.
Dakota shrugs. "I already told you Freya, your being paranoid. You have what? 20 spells on me that prevents any sort of pain or harm to me. I know you also have some of your familiars following me too. We're perfectly fine." He pats his belly.
Freya scowls. "Those things mean nothing. I can't have you out of my sight."
Dakota huffs. "I was just reading them a book."
Freya narrows her eyes, "While you sat on the floor?"
Dakota stiffens. Unable to lie he adverts his gaze and nods. She didn't like it when he wasn't sitting in the finest pillows.
