"Just a few more minutes." She muttered, already half sleeping against Roan again as she let his body warm hers.

After a few hours of sleep, the two made their ways downstairs again so Meave could see Kane and the group of Arkadia again.

Pushing open the two heavy doors, their eyes landed on Bellamy, Kane and Jaha discussing some importants matters with Clarke and her whole body relaxed when she saw that everyone was okay. She casually stepped inside to greet them, Bellamy being the first to notice her as he rushed to her as fast as lighting to hug her tightly. Kane also embraced her, but Jaha simply only nodded at her before going back to business with Clarke, she understood why though.

Meave was never close to Jaha and she understood that they still had to keep everything going if they wanted everyone to survive second Praimfaya so she understood his reaction.

"It's good to see you, Meave." Bellamy smiled widely as he shared a quick glare with Roan who was quietly standing behind her.

He had to admit it was good seeing familiar faces despite not being as close with them as his wife was.

"It's good to see you too, Bellamy. So, where is the rest? I thought more people from Arkadia would join us." Meave shrugged, looking at the pretty small group spread across the room. There was nobody except for the six of them and it made her wonder if something bad had happened back in Arkadia as they had made their way to Polis.

"The black rain struck us not that long ago and a small group lost their lives because of it." Jaha began, slowly walking their way after he finished his matters with Clarke. "Then we had a group that wanted to stay behind, having no will to live anymore." He watched his feet in silence and Meave's jaw dropped slightly. She couldn't believe it. Jasper was amongst them.... What if he stayed behind....? What if Monty had stayed behind too....?

She didn't want to lose anybody in general, not when they finally found a way for everyone to survive.

"The rest came with us free willingly, all now injected and healthy and already helping downstairs in the throne room." Kane continued and she sighed in relief. She had been quite scared that everyone had given up life and that the group before them was all that was left, but luckily the rest were already downstairs....

"Though.... Uh.... Who stayed behind?" Meave swallowed nervously, asking the only question that still bugged her.

"It isn't necessary to kn-...."

"Who. Stayed. Behind?!" She cut off Jaha who clearly wasn't planning on being honest with her immediately.

"Jasper Jordan, Riley, Hayes, Bree and 10 or more people who followed them into suicide." He mentioned softly and she could feel Roan coming closer to her, but all she did was shake her head before sharing a look with her king to kindly stop his actions.

"I'm fine. If Jasper and the rest wanted to be left behind.... then.... then we have to accept it. I have to accept it." She mumbled in between sharp breaths, clearly withholding herself from bursting into tears.

Oh how much she was going to miss him.

Sure, he had turned into a completely different person, but he was always going to be one of her best friends.
