"Azgeda.... Meave? Azgeda?! They would never help someone descending from Skaikru." The woman simply nodded and slapped his back softly so that it still looked like a friendly hug.

"Well here I am, healthy and alive.... thanks to the 'hostile' warrior." She chuckled and let go of him again.

After Lincoln and Meave were finished catching up some talking, he had helped her with eating something and then left off to find Octavia so he could explain to her why he was wearing Skaikru's uniform that she apparently disagreed with. Bellamy, Monty, Indra and Kane were in the meantime on their way to find Clarke after hearing about the woman's presumptions and the rest of the group stayed in Arkadia, being very cautious about Meave with the thought that she could die anytime even though the wound already pretty much healed.

She was happy that she was escorted to her room pretty fast after she had no chance of infections anymore so everyone would leave her alone and she was out of surveillance which meant she got her precious privacy back.

The woman laid down her head on her soft pillow while she threw a ball up and caught it again to keep her mind from the pain she still suffered from.

Nova had to charge again and Meave was bored to death since she had no one to talk to now and she fell asleep within seconds from boredom with the ball falling onto her face. She didn't feel it at all though and drifted off into a very intimidating and inappropriate dream about the blue eyed man.... the dream having a huge effect on her and making her whine when something interrupted it. Bright sunlight appeared into her bedroom when a phantom opened her curtains and she rubbed her eyes. Dammit.... Kane had to wake her right now? She watched him laying clean folded clothes on her bed and he laughed a little.

"Come on, lie-in. There are people waiting for us." He leaned over her and grabbed her shoulders, shaking her gently so she would fully wake up.

Meave watched him with curiosity and confusion, not knowing what he was talking about, but still grabbed the clean clothes with her sleepy movements. Thereupon, she playfully had sent Kane out of the room with hand gestures before she threw the sheets off of her and got up. Yawning, she walked to her bathroom door and undressed herself there, afterwards throwing the old clothes into the right corner of the small square bathroom while she was waiting for her cold shower to warm up.

After noticing a little bit of steam coming from the water and checking if the temperature was warm enough, Meave got in and washed her hair and body with some cheap soap before rinsing it off again.

After the quick but refreshing shower, she dried herself and got dressed in the fresh new clothes Kane brought in. She wore a black shirt with ripped holes that showed pieces of her bare skin and cleavage on top of pants with zippers and sewn parts of leather. She then completed the look with a white and black leather motorcycle jacket on top of that and had also put her sword in its holder that was attached to her back so it would be easier to walk around without having to carry it.

After she did all that, she quickly braided her hair so that it wasn't hanging all messy in front of her eyes anymore and before she got out of her cute room she had transferred Nova to her watch so she could help them when needed.

Opening the heavy door, Meave walked out and closed the door behind her, locking it before facing Kane. He had a huge grin on his face and she rolled her eyes. The grin was probably there because she again had put too much effort into getting dressed. "Only clean clothing that I had around was the clothing you gave me so this is your fault." The woman shrugged and chuckled at Kane who gave her a soft elbow, knowing she was right though.

Meave had never been a girl who cared about what fashionable was at the moment and she didn't really like makeup, instead she always wore what she liked and what she found comfortable to wear at that moment.

She never really cared about the fact that people may judge her for what she wore, she just did what she wanted.

"Why are we leaving Arkadia, if I may ask?" Meave followed Kane as they left Arkadia, picking up the road to Mount Weather to her surprise....

She thought they didn't use the place anymore because that could give them some massive troubles.

"We will accompany Abby to Polis. I thought you would like some time away from Arkadia." Meave's dark hazel eyes lit up instantly and she couldn't suppress a huge smile that was painted on her face anymore.

"Why me?" She kicked a few small rocks that were laying on her path.

'You're a fighter and it's always a good idea to bring one, especially now Octavia isn't here. Besides, like I already said before, I thought you would love the idea of being away from camp for a while.... " Kane jerked his head her way when he noticed she hadn't stopped smiling and she seriously wanted to hit her head so hard she could stop it because it started to get suspicious. "You're hiding something for sure, Meave. Why that bright smile?" The woman lowered her head, looking down at the floor while trying to find the words to tell him, not noticing she had stopped walking while she was thinking.

"I met a man trying to find Clarke some time ago." She bit the inside of her cheek nervously.

"That's why your wound was almost healed before you arrived, wasn't it?" Kane smiled a little now too, not mad at all.

"Exactly, he patched me up and saved me from his own clan."

"And which clan would that be?" Meave sighed and got even more anxious. She was speechless because she didn't want Kane to get mad at her naive move, but.... just what was the point of lying now?

"Azgeda."

"Meave, you've heard all the stories right?"

"Bellamy was also saved by Azgeda...." She quickly responded. "Besides, I didn't even have a choice. The man had kidnapped me to find Clarke, but then saved me twice and let me go instead." The man she saw as her father shook his head at her, trying to silent her. Meave however wouldn't shut up so soon and she noticed he wanted to know who this man was so she decided to go a little further. "You want to know what he looked like? Cold blue eyes, his body broad and muscular. Bloody hell, I would definit-...."

"Enough! I know you don't trust Skaikru and I know you feel like you don't fit in with us, but give me one reason why even afterwards he had kidnapped you, you would choose him above us."

The woman clenched her jaw and narrowed her eyes at the man's anger.

She didn't want to snap at him but he was twisting her words and she wasn't okay with that at all.

She wouldn't choose him above them.

"Who said I would choose him over all of you? The thing is.... he saved me and being around him felt more trustworthy than I have ever felt here in Arkadia with anyone-.... I know it sounds ridiculous, but it's the truth." Meave spoke calmly as Kane's face turned to an embarrassed expression as well as a glimpse of regret becoming visible in his eyes. "It doesn't matter.... don't feel guilty about it. It's a good thing to let all the stress out for once you know."

Kane grabbed her shoulders with both hands and pulled the woman into a hug to show her he was genuinely sorry about his rage burst and she embraced him back.

"If you truly trust him I won't judge you. It means you can finally find someone you perhaps can have something comfortable with." His voice tone suddenly got very serious while he let her go and the woman just laughed with discomfort, rubbing her upper arm awkwardly.

"Thank you, Kane."

They shortly after arrived at the rover and Abby was already waiting for them, Meave being too distracted to focus or interfere with Abby and Kane's conversation while she stared at the green trees in the distance.

"What if they won't give her back? Then it is my fault?"

"We won't leave without your daughter. I promise."

Meave suddenly felt a tap on her shoulder and noticed Kane standing behind her with Abby clinging to his side when she snapped out of her thoughts. Abby had quickly let go though when she noticed Meave spotted them and she then climbed into the rover to sit down, leaving Kane and her alone. "Come on, Meave. Let's think about that man inside of the rover, okay?" She laughed at him and elbowed him playfully before they both jumped into the rover and left Arkadia behind to find their way to Polis and even maybe to the handsome Roan.
