"Kepon. Hon Indra en Okteivia daun. Teik enes au." [Hostages. Find Indra and Octavia. Kill everyone else.]

In panic, Meave closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

War against her old clan or against her own husband....

~~~
To choose scared her quite a bit and especially if what she thought was going one was true.... Meave knew if she let her heart choose, it was way too easy, but she had to think with her head. She loved Roan with whole her heart and she would without a doubt choose him if she really had to, but it wasn't the smartest option.
She knew Roan had taken care of her like she was everything to him, like he knew she was his queen from the start. And yes, Skaikru had never been a home to her. They all ignored and picked on her like she was nothing in comparison to them, but choosing Roan meant losing their only chance of survival and the war alone would cause the death of hundreds of people.
However choosing Skaikru would mean she would lose the faith of her people, and more importantly.... her husband.
[King Roan]
Turning his back to the people he had taken as his prisoners and glaring into the empty streets as they were taken away to their temporary shelter, he was regretting the decision he had made, but it had to happen.
Skaikru had betrayed his trust and now they would pay for what they had done.
"I'm sorry, Ai haiplana." Roan began, sighing to himself as he didn't hear a response coming from his wife. "Can we talk this out another time and come back to the conversation from a few minutes back...? I'm sorry I let it interrupt us."
Yet again, no answer....
"Meave...?" He shot his head to the side before he scanned the room, spotting no one except for the guards at the doors. "Where is my wife?!" He growled and one guard brave enough to face him, stepped his way and leaned into his ear.
"She left." He whispered and covered his mouth so no one could hear or see what he was saying.
"What do you mean she left?!" He loudly repeated which caused the man to take a step back out of fear.
"She is not around anymore." He stumbled over his words and mumbled as he saw the rage burning up his king's piercing blue eyes.
"It was your duty to guard my wife! You just let her run off?! Without stopping her?!" The guard dumbly nodded at him and it angered him so much he threw a burning candle holder across the room, putting the curtains on fire as he did so. He didn't care though. All he could think about was his wife, leaving his side to perhaps join Skaikru. He clenched his fists tightly. "I demand that you will find her and bring her back unharmed. Understand?!"
"Yes, Haiefa!" The men shouted in core and had left the king by himself in the Embassy.
~~~

There was still no information clear about where his wife had left off to and his furious thoughts weren't even that strong as his concerns for her. Of course he was filled with rage, but beside that strong emotion, he was extremely worried. What if something bad had happened to her?
