It didn't take long before they managed to get to their bedroom, but Roan suddenly stopped her and looked around the room carefully. "Someone has been in here."

"What?" She held onto his hand again and looked around as well.

"The flame...."

~~~
"No.... no, no, no, if the people find out we lost it...." Meave whispered mostly to herself and tugged at her hair, pacing through the room. "Who would be able to steal something like this and not be afraid to die-....?"
"The new Flamekeeper."
Meave jerked her head back at Roan while he folded his hands behind his back, giving her a helpless look.
"I will visit Octavia." He continued and Meave tilted her head a little.
"You're going to ask her for help? But what if she tells the rest we lost the flame....?"
"I wish I could it myself, but we both know those guards won't leave us alone and give us the privacy to handle it in secret." Meave knew he was right and nodded understanding.
"I know. I suppose asking her will be a good idea then." She sighed and felt his hands holding her hips to pull her a little closer. "But I want to go with you." She gave him puppy eyes and all he did was place a kiss on her head before he let go again.
"No, it'll draw too much attention when they notice two cloaked figures roaming through the streets." He grabbed his black cloak to cover his body and face.
"Fine...." she closed her hazel eyes before letting herself fall back onto the soft bed to try and relax. Clearly Roan had a weakness for leaving his wife alone though and turned himself away from the door, closing it as he did so.
"When I've informed Octavia about the missing flame, I will be back as quickly as possible. I promise, Ai Haiplana." He leaned over her to stare into her cute eyes that opened themselves again.
~~~

[King Roan]

Roan smiled and slowly stood up straight again, grabbing onto her hand to bring her back up with him. "Promise me you'll stay here." He stroked her hair out of her face and gave her a serious look.

"I promise." She answered and he nodded, walking out of the bedroom and leaving her by herself. He hated to do so. He didn't trust anyone to keep her safe besides from him and since someone managed to break into their bedroom, thoughts of people breaking in and hurting her filled his mind even more. He couldn't take her with him though. He had no choice but to leave her in the tower and hope she was safe in there without him.

Covering his face with his cloak, he went downstairs into the elevator and outside the tower with his guards by his side.

They walked passed the courtyard, the market and the trading streets before he caught a glimpse of the Skaikru warrior, Octavia. It was hard to deny her the title of being a warrior, even though she was Skaikru. She was surprisingly fast and smart which helped her easily catches her enemies of guard. Skairipa they called her now. Death from above.

"It's not safe for you here. What do you want?" Octavia was sharpening her blade, but stopped when she felt a gaze on her back.
