"You want to find Wanheda, don't you?" The king nodded in a playful defeat and pulled her to her feet as well. "Fine. Though if we want to find her, we first have to store some supplies."

"Well let's start then, angel."

"We have a problem." Roan whispered to his woman and she raised her brow.

"Huh? What?" She stared at him in disbelief and blinked a few times in confusion.

She knew he was taught to track when he was just a little kid, but she wasn't and so in her eyes there was absolutely nothing wrong.

"Keep following the road. I will be on the east side." He kissed her quickly and she crossed her arms after kissing him back. "No, don't argue with me. Don't worry, okay?"

"Fine." She gave in and let her shoulders slouch which made him chuckle a bit.

"You're cute when you do that." He winked at her and let go before he disappeared into the forest.

Meave in the meantime did what he asked her too and looked around her in boredom. She couldn't understand why they could never have some time alone together and without problems. It was as if the world didn't want them to be.... but then yet again she reminded herself that this world was dangerous and everyone was bothered by it, not just them.

Putting more pace behind her steps, she eventually started running to calm her mind. She always did that if she started to feel hopeless and small. The green nature around her gave her a feeling of safety and comfort because the Ark never was able to give her that. It didn't have trees that grew towards each other and created a path with almost no sunlight that was able to come through the leaves, making light beams shine through the leaves. It also didn't have dirt paths or small flowers and bushes.

She felt so free.

It was about six days ago since they had ignored the orders of Ontari and she had to admit the freedom felt amazing. Hunting, sleeping, eating and some hot ass sex together with no one to disturb them felt good, except for the trees. They sometimes ruined the smooth skin on her back, but she could live with it.

After around 15 minutes of running, the woman finally ended up at the end of the road and with that the way Roan had pointed to and she noticed he hadn't caught up with her yet which was kinda strange. He was normally always faster than her.

Meave decided to climb up the hill because perhaps he was already on the other side, but instead she spotted Skaikru's rover standing in the slightly snow-covered landscape.

Curiously, she ran down the hill so she could get a closer look at what was going on and she was very very lucky she had heard the gunshot or else she would've been dead with a bullet in her skull.

"BELLAMY!! IT'S ME!!" She outran the bullet and shouted out loud with her hands high so they wouldn't pull the trigger a second time.

"Jesus Meave! Couldn't you have screamed that it was you from the moment you stood on the top of that fucking hill?! I almost killed you." Bellamy shouted as well, mostly because of the adrenaline from shooting and the shock it was Meave.

"Nope because I didn't think you would actually shoot without knowing a 100% who the person was. Guess I was wrong. What happened? Why are you all here?" She wondered while browsing the forest for Roan.
