"Angel? You're okay?" He reached out to hold her hips.
"I.... I think I'm pregnant." She lowered her head to avoid eye contact.

Meave had no idea how her husband felt. Maybe because his jaw clenched and his breathing changed, or maybe because he had turned his head away from her, glaring over his shoulder at the entrance of the cave. Whatever gave her the bad feeling he didn't want her anymore, she was wrong though.
He was scared, yes, he didn't want her to get hurt, but it really brought him joy as well.
He always wanted to have children, especially with her.
Carefully Roan pulled her into a gentle and warm hug when he calmed his thoughts, his strong hand stroking the back of her head as she buried her face into his chest. "You know I could never be mad about this, angel. In fact, the opposite even." He whispered into her ear. "You're having our baby."
"I know." She mumbled softly. "I was just afraid I would lose you.... that you would hate me and never would trust me again."
"Even if we did stand on opposite sides on that battlefield, you would never lose my love. I would never be able to hurt you."
"Me neither." She whispered, face still buried into his chest.
"Ai hod yu in, ai Haiplana." [I love you, my queen.] He smiled down at her.
"Ai hod yu in, ai Haiefa." [I love you, my king.] She weakly smiled back.
It was a comforting silence that followed the lovely words. A silence where both lovers simply showed each other love by a tight sweet embrace, hands rubbing each other's back to soothe the other.
It felt like ages, but it wasn't long enough for the two though. Meave could feel Roan gently grabbing onto her hips and she looked up, not expecting Roan's face to come down to hers to kiss her deeply.
She could instantly feel the love growing stronger and Roan carefully pushed her backwards as they kissed until her back was supported by the wall.
"Roan~." She softly moaned when his lips left open-mouth kisses on her neck. "Roan~ please stop, my king~ Clarke is waiting for us, we have to go to Arkadia."
"It can wait."
"Can it?" She questioningly raised her eyebrow at him and he slowly stepped back, lowering his head as he silently agreed with her.
No matter how much he hated to do so....
"No, it can't. You're right, angel.... we have to go...." He whispered and turned around, not walking out yet. "I hate this."
"Hate what exactly?" She caught up with him and held his hand as they began to walk to the exit.
"Every time having to delay our pleasure." He smirked and Meave giggled.
"When this all is over, who knows? We may have the time of the world." She joked and playfully hit Roan's chest with her free hand.
He only responded with a growl and sneaked his arm around her back to cup her hip, together making their way to Clarke outside of the cave.
It wasn't just Clarke though.
It seemed both Bellamy and Echo caught up with them too.
"Ai Haiefa, ai Haiplana." [My king, my Queen.] Echo nodded respectfully at them before Clarke interrupted her.
"Bellamy, are you okay?!" She rushed to him and his eyebrows were sternly furrowed. Honestly, he didn't seem that happy or friendly like he used to be, but it was understandable since not a few seconds ago he was still on his knees being a hostage.
"No one died today."
"So what did we miss?" Roan cleared his throat and the obviously annoyed Bellamy and the relieved Echo shared a suspicious look.
"Nothing, Sire. Did we miss anything?"
"No, nothing." Roan fired back quickly before Clarke or Meave could speak and she could feel the tension among the group increasing, both sides keeping important things behind.
Roan and Meave decided to let Clarke and Bellamy lead the rest of the discussion so Clarke could explain everything that was talked about precisely.
"And the ship?"
"If we can't crack nightblood, we'll share Arkadia, find a way to survive together."
Both Bellamy and Echo's jaw dropped and shocked, yet with understanding, watched her when suddenly a loud explosion was heard in the distance.
It seemed to come from Arkadia....
It made Roan raise his brow and hold onto the side of Maeve's stomach in a protective way as an automatic reaction.
"That came from Arkadia, didn't it?" Meave whispered and Clarke inhaled deeply, trying not to panic.
"Yes, that came from Arkadia."
"Our only hope...." Roan spoke up from under his breath.
~~~
"I have to find my sister."
"She was in medbay."
The group walked through the open gates of Arkadia while the drop ship was turning into ash in the meantime, the metal melting as it burned up in flames.
"How did this happen!" Clarke demanded an answer from a few fleeing people, but they were too busy saving themselves. "There. There." Clarke pointed out while hurriedly tapping Bellamy's shoulder to get his attention.
"O!!"
"Come on, let's go, let's go!" Meave could hear a man shouting at the people trying to get out of the smoking building and she quickly focused on Bellamy again who tried to see if his sister was okay.
"I got you. I got you. Let's get you out of here. I got you. I got you. Okay?" Bellamy dropped to his knees and held his weak sister close to his chest, Octavia bursting into tears while she grabbed the neck of her brother in comfort.
"Alright, hey, hey. You're okay?" Clarke rushed to Niylah.
"I'm ok...." Niylah coughed and pointed at Octavia. "Help Octavia."
"Monty, take Niylah." Clarke ordered before she ran from patient to patient to help them.
"It was Ilian. I tried to stop him." Octavia managed to talk in between her coughs.
