"Destroy the ladder behind us. On it." Bryan ran past Meave and she quickly glanced at Murphy and Bellamy as Murphy was, again, not satisfied by the plan.

"Come one, you do realize we don't have a way down, right?"

~~~
"Can we stop making a problem out of everything?" Meave rubbed her temples, trying to soothe an upcoming headache. "Can we just focus on A.L.I.E right now?"
"I am with Meave in this, it's a problem for another day." Indra pointed out with a stern facial expression and everyone nodded.
"Let's go, our ride is here."
Meave stepped to the side to let Murphy and Bellamy through and they placed their fingers between the two doors that were tightly closed to try and pull them open together. They succeeded after a couple minutes of whining and then they walked in.
"Coming, O?" Bellamy turned around to look at his sister who shook her head.
"If anything goes wrong down here, they'll need my help. We got this."
"Meave?" He looked at the broken woman and she nodded slowly before she took his hand and walked into the elevator.
She needed something to get her mind off what happened earlier and maybe this was the way to do so. Besides, they needed another fighter so she was the right pick.
"You get that we're screwed, right? A.L.I.E already knows that we're coming."
They were standing together in the elevator after they closed the doors by hand, hearing the wheel turn again before they suddenly moved upwards.
"This plan will work." Bellamy stared at the elevator doors while Murphy rolled his eyes. "Why are you even here?"
"I'm just trying to survive." Murphy answered quickly.
"Yeah right, if you 'just wanted to survive' then you should have stayed far away from here." Meave glanced up at Murphy who was a bit startled before he switched his attention to Bellamy again.
"You're not the only one here trying to save someone you care about." He rolled his eyes and when it grew silent between everyone, the elevator stopped out of nowhere and the three of them stumbled backwards. "Well, that's not good." Murphy coughed after he hit his back hard against the elevator wall.
"No shit!" Meave hissed and drew her sword to be able to defend herself. She had no idea how long it would take for the men on the other side to open those doors, but she wanted to be prepared for the attack that would probably follow.
"MURPHY, GET THE BATON READY! SHOCK HIM, MURPH!" Five men tried to storm in after they managed to pull the doors open, but Murphy shocked two of them with the help of Bellamy and Meave knocked the two other ones out. Which left the group with a total of one more man. The three of them tried to close the doors again, but the fifth man suddenly jumped between the two doors before they closed completely.
Murphy pushed the intruder against the wall, making it easier for Bellamy and Meave to hit him, but he just wouldn't pass out. Not with the baton, not with their hands, with nothing.... so they had no choice but to shoot.
