"And how are we supposed to trust your words?" Taehyung spoke.
Jeongguk froze, now making eye contact with oh so beautiful human in front of him.
'Playing smart huh?' He thought before flashing a smirk towards Taehyung, making the other slightly irritated.
"Well you see, your highness, if there's anything I'd never do, it's gonna be lying, I'm a man of my words."
Taehyung rolled his eyes "again, how am I supposed to believe that?"
Jeongguk chuckled and rose an eyebrow, amused by the prince's behavior."Want me to prove it?" He asked, earning a nod from the other.
"You look absolutely beautiful, the prettiest human I've ever seen."
Well that was daring now wasn't it Jeongguk, let's see how the royal family will react to that.

"Pfft-oh m-my apologies" the Queen stuttered after almost bursting out with giggles, earning a glare from her son.
About the king, nothing much really, he gave no reaction.

Taehyung's flustered state didn't go unnoticed by Jeongguk which made him smile in victory,he was enjoying the reaction but his mood dropped when the prince spoke again.
"That proves nothing! We're talking about wars and betrayal and you're here complimenting me?" Taehyung huffed, avoiding eye contact with everyone in the room as he stood up.
"Excuse me." He bowed towards his parents and held Jimin's arm before leaving the place with a small pout on his lips.
Jeongguk sighed mentally before taking few steps closer to the royal couple whom didn't utter a word, making the guards look at him, feeling alarmed.
