"Dad?" A voice called, making the king look up from the papers in front of him to the direction of the door, which showed Taehyung's head peeking in.
"Come in, son." He said, leaving whatever's in his hand and focusing on the prince.
"How are you?" He asked, earning a smile from Taehyung.
"I'm fine, father, I also have something important to say." The prince said.
"I'm listening."
"Well umm—" Taehyung's cheeks turned pink as he fiddled with the rings on his delicate fingers, looking down.
The king rose an eyebrow, confused at his son's behavior yet waiting for him patiently to know what he has to say.
"I love Jeongguk."
'oooh.'
"Are you sure?" The old man carefully spoke, looking at his son's eyes to see if there's any uncertainty in them, but he didn't see anything except a happy spark.
"Yes, very much."
The king smiled ."Well then, go tell your mother, I'm sure she'll be happy to hear."
Taehyung smiled back. "Can you please tell her? I wanna spend time with Ggukie now." he asked, seeing the king's smiley face turn into a small frown.
"You and Gguk can tell her together, I'm busy— plus it's your love life, you have to tell her by yourself, and then we'll all unite to see about the future plans." The king explained, before giving his son a wave and giving his attention pack to what he was doing before.
"Okay." Taehyung bowed and exited the room, met with a smiling Jeongguk who was standing beside the door, annoying a guard, but soon left him in peace when he noticed his prince's presence.
"How did it go?"
"It's good thankfully, Let's go tell mom now!"
The pirate nodded, wrapping his arm possessively around Taehyung's waist and stuck his tongue out at the guard and said.
"You're single! Ha!"

Both of the males went down the hallways and chatted for few minutes, few cheesy remarks here and there before arriving in front of the king and Queen's chamber; in which where they assumed the queen will be, also according to Yoongi who passed by.
Taehyung knocked on the door twice, few seconds later, the door was opened by a maid, making Taehyung look at her in confusion.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, making the poor maid gulp and look down.
"I was helping the Queen with something-"
"What is it?"
The maid looked at Taehyung then Jeongguk, giving the older male a nod before excusing herself.
"You can't just—" Taehyung was about to call her again but Jeongguk interrupted him.
"Maybe it's ladies' stuff sweetheart, let your curious cute side aside for now." Jeongguk felt guilty for lying, he knows that the maid has been just giving medicine to the sick woman, but Taehyung had no idea.
"You're right, let's go." Taehyung sighed as both of them stepped inside the room, Jeongguk taking his hand off Taehyung's waist because the prince has to inter first.
"Mom?" Taehyung called, he heard some shuffling before his mother's voice spoke.
"I'm here dear!" she exclaimed , standing up from her bed and sprinting towards her son giving him a hug.
"How are you ? Did you eat your lunch?" She asked, observing Taehyung's flustered face then glanced at Jeongguk who was biting back a smile.
She cleared her throat." Oh I'm sorry I didn't notice you Jeongguk, how are you two?"
"I'm good mom."
"Doing great, your majesty."
The Queen smiled before making them sit on a nearby couch.
"So~ why the sudden visit?" She asked, looking back and forth between the two males, sipping her tea elegantly.
Taegguk looked at each other before smiling, Taehyung opening his mouth to speak.
"Mom, For the past two weeks, I've figured my feelings for Jeongguk and I-I love him, so much." The prince said, his face almost exploding, and the pirate's stare didn't make it any better.
The Queen put her tea on the table and clapped, a big smile on her face. "Wonderful news! Have you talked to your father about the weddding? When is it?" She asked in a hurry, you can't blame her, she waited twenty four years for this moment.
"I told dad about that but he said we can all talk about it together at dinner time if Jeongguk's available."
"I am."
"Well, he is available."
"You don't know how much I'm happy son, my baby's finally gonna get married and have beautiful kids." She squealed, squishing Taehyung's already pink cheeks, making the male whine in embarrassment.
"Mom not now~"
"Aside form the plan, When do you what your wedding?" She asked.
Taehyung shrugged while Jeongguk spoke. "I want it soon, maybe after a week or two?" He said, while Taehyung's eyes widened.
"Isn't that a bit too early?" He rose an eyebrow, Jeongguk just shook his head with a smile. "Not really, but I'm not a patient person— except if you wanna wait—"
"No it's okay." Taehyung smiled softly. "we can do it as soon as possible."
The Queen smiled softly, caressing her son's hair as they started another conversation, the chamber was full of laughed and giving a happy vibe to the three of them.
Maybe the wedding's soon, but what else?
