' I hope I don't regret this' Jeongguk thought as he scooped closer to the other and pulled him against his chest, caging him in his strong arms.
He noticed Taehyung's body turned stiff for few seconds before feeling the younger male clutching onto his arms tightly as he cried hard.
"It's okay." Jeongguk whispered as he rubbed the prince's back in comfort. "You don't have to tell me, just let it out."
Jeongguk only knows one thing for now.
Taehyung is on the edge of falling into depression.
We all feel sad sometimes, but usually we have our reasons, no matter how silly they are, a person's sadness can lead to something way worse.
However, judging from Taehyung's words, the young male doesn't know why is he feeling like this, so it must be from eating less, being locked, or life overall.
Taehyung already earned a soft spot in the pirate's heart, and he's more than willing to help the prince reach his happiness back.. or at least try.
Just as he pulled himself out of his deep thoughts, Jeongguk noticed the small male's sobs turn into cute sniffles as he snuggled more into the pirate's chest.
He won't pull away, nope, his heart is melting right now.
But all the moments come to an end after some time, whether they're happy or sad.
Taehyung let out a gasp as he pulled away and freed himself from the older's arms who almost poured at the prince's actions.
"I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to—" Taehyung was cut off by the pirate shushing him.
Bruh the audacity.
"It's okay your highness, you needed help." Jeongguk said, tucking a strand of Taehyung's hair behind his ear, making the male look down embarrassed.
"I stained your shirt with my stupid tears."
"I don't mind at all." Jeongguk said as he wiped Taehyung's tears. "And these tears are precious, not stupid." He added, making Taehyung's heart skip a beat as his cheeks flushed a cute shade of pink.
"Taehyung."
The said male furrowed his eyebrows. "Don't you think you shall respect me a little?" He said, earning a chuckle from the pirate.
"Well sorry then." Jeongguk raised his hands up in surrender. "What do you want me to call you? Majesty? Sweetheart? Baby? Honey?"
The twenty four year old felt his face beating up second by second, he let out a huff and looked away, pouting.
"Prince Taehyung would be fine."
"You're so boring you know that?"
Taehyung took a deep breathe and looked at the other with a sassy expression . "It's late, you can go now, hmph."
"Awh come on." Jeongguk whined, making Taehyung let out a giggle.
'He fucking giggled' Jeongguk can explode right now.
Either way, he's satisfied he could put a smile on the other's face after suffering from the past week.
Taehyung crossed his arms "I have to sleep." He said, thinking his stern voice can make Jeongguk leave.
Well it did, but not in the way he expected.
The pirate got up from the bed and put his shoes on, turning to the prince's side and holding his delicate hand in his, putting a kiss on his knuckles.
"Sweet night, little prince."
With that Jeongguk disappeared from the window like he usually does, leaving Taehyung frustrated, but at least he put a soft smile on his face.
However, he didn't notice that there was someone peeking from the door , watching everything since the moment Jeongguk pulled the beauty into his arms.
