Taehyung glared at him. "Now answer my questions."
Jungkook shrugged "Well I was bored and decided to pass by and say hi."
"What even—"
"What?"
"You know what? Forget it." Taehyung huffed and rolled his eyes, clearly annoyed about the older's presence, but Jeongguk doesn't care about that.
Silence.
Yeah none of them spoke for a while, having no idea what to say at the moment by hey, it's Jeongguk.
"Uhh- so-" he coughed. "Wanna get to know each other? Since you know..."
Taehyung sat on his bed, looking at the male while raising an eyebrow. "Since what?"
"You can say— I'm staying here for a while?"
Taehyung sighed and shook his head in frustration. "I do not care how long will you be here but I want you to get out of my room right now, you're creepy."
"Oh c'mon." Jeongguk whined, walking towards the prince's direction and sitting next to him, making Taehyung slightly uncomfortable.
'I am so close to calling a guard' Taehyung thought as he glared at the pirate who was flashing an innocent smile towards him.
Oh, yes he can't deny the man is handsome as fuck and his smile is just charming, but again he knows nothing about him.
"Listen, I don't know you so you have no right to get this close to me." Taehyung's stern voice was heard, however it didn't affect Jeongguk.. much.
The pirate spoke up."I know it's quite disrespectful especially if you're a royalty, but didn't I say let's get to know each other?"
"Please maintain your distance at least." Taehyung said, making Jeongguk sigh and scoot away a bit, a meter between him and the prince, murmuring a small "sorry."
He may be weird but he's not dumb, after all he's a pirate and can't be trusted this close to the prince.
He doesn't usually approach people, he has no idea why did he do that even if he knows It will lead him to nowhere at the moment.
But as they say, live the moment.
"So , your favorite color?" Jungkook asked.
Taehyung looked at him unsurely but decided to give in anyways, a little conversation wouldn't hurt.
He never interacted much with people from outside, but this is his chance.
" Rose gold, you?" The prince said, making Jeongguk chuckle.
"Brown can do, or maybe gold? Can't decide." The pirate pouted.
Taehyung let out a small smile. "All the colors are beautiful, it's hard to choose anyways."
Jeongguk let out a 'hm' before speaking up again. "How old are you?"
"Twenty-four,you?"
"Twenty-nine." Jeongguk answered before closing his eyes, expecting what's about to be said, and yeah his expects were right.
"You're old." Taehyung teased, letting out a small giggle , making Jeongguk feel happy and annoyed at the same time.
"I'm not that old."
"Sure-"
"Just five years between us."
Taehyung titled his head, looking at the other with observing eyes. "Why should this matter?" He asked, making Jeongguk break the eye contact and look at anywhere else.
"Uh, to show my mathematical skills?"
Taehyung laughed."A seven years old kid can answer that."
The pirate huffed , "It's still math, do you have any special talents to show me?"
Taehyung let go of the pillow He's cuddling and stood up, making the older look at him in confusion.
"Follow me." Taehyung said as he led the other to a corner in the huge room, which seemed to a big table and a lot of papers scattered around it, some crumbled and some empty, some has random pictures of animals and profiles.
"I love art." Taehyung said softly, before ruffling through the mess , taking out a sheet, and showing it to Jeongguk.
To say Jeongguk wasn't amazed would be a lie, he can marry the prince's art if he could.
"This is .. beautiful." Jeongguk said, looking at Taehyung who smiled shyly with a pink cloud on his soft cheeks.
The drawing contained a bird, to be more exact a colorful one, seems like Taehyung is good with mixing colors since it looks so naturel and amazing.
"I was bored back then, then saw some birds like this one on the tree in front of my window, I loved their colors so I drew one." Taehyung explained before setting the sheet down and walking back towards his bed, Jeongguk following after.
"I can tell you're an amazing artist, you did a good job your highness." Jeongguk praised the other who looked at him with a bright smile, whispering a "thank you."
They spent like another half an hour talking, getting to know each other more and thankfully Taehyung got more comfortable with the pirate.
"It's my time to leave." Jeongguk said, standing up and going over to the window, earning Taehyung attention.
"How will you even get down?" Taehyung asked, looking at the other in confusion.
Jeongguk smirked. "Don't worry about that, Goodnight your highness." He took the younger's delicate hand in his and put a small kiss on the back of his palm.
A blush formed on Taehyung's cheek at the action, and without another word the pirate opened the window and went to god knows where.
