My penitence

When I knew Jayden was coming back, I understood he would come to me for killing. I was feeling so bad after that incident. I regretted about everything. I was sorry for Josephine. She would never forgive me, I was sure. I was ready to be on my knees till the rest of my life, but I wanna see her eyes and feel her presence in my miserable life.

At the mall, I chose the most expensive earings for Christmas present. I planned to remain them in the mail box or pass them through her parents. On the second floor, I saw Carol, Jo, Betty and Lola. I was hurry to go parking and escape. I was watching Jo's gift and then her furious eyes appeared in front of me. She crushed my car, I didn't move, I fixed my eyes to her eyes. Through my eyes I begged to forgive me. I knew that I deserved it. I preferred to drive away, because I didn't want to fight with her.

At home I couldn't find my place. I was waiting for him. In one hour and a half, his car rushed to my street. He slammed the door, I was in the garden already. His body was ready to attack me. He could knock me down by one punch. He was a real talented boxer. His appearance was changed. He became stronger, more confident and a tattoo was on his left arm.

"Toby, go out!" - his voice thundered.

"Ok, let's try to listen to your weak excuses."- He was pushy.

"May I do my apologize? I'm going to say sorry for Josephine and you a lot of time untill you forgive me."
"What were you thinking about, idiot?"
"I was drunk. First, she didn't mind, but then as if she remembered about you and stopped. I was too angry, that's why I did it. But if I wasn't drunk much, I had never done it. Believe me!"
"You told me about seducing my little sister, what about you? Toby, you are twenty, you are even older than me. How could you? Where is my best friend? Evil owned you."
"You can punish me. Beat me, punch me, kick me. You can do everything with me. It will be better for me." - I came to him closer and hoped he would relieve my soul fighting with me. I had to be punished. Jayden was the best man who could do it.

"Josephine asked me not to touch you. I keep my promise."- He pushed me and my eyes were wet and lips were shaking. I wanna be beaten. I wanna feel physical pain.

"I hope, you never come to Jo if she doesn't want it."- His fists clenched. It was a sign before attack. But he controlled himself so really good.
When Jayden came to his car, I asked my last question:
"May I come to your house and present my gift for Josephine?" - I was so scared of his reaction. But he didn't open his mouth. He gazed at me and sat into the car without saying a word.

I thought that it could be yes.
