"Miss Georgia, are you ok?" - the nurse asked.
"Yeah, I'm ok. Thanks." - Georgia was standing by the window, she was touching her baby who was kicking inside.

"Mister Gabriel, do you need some help?" - the doctor wondered.
"No, thanks." - Gab gave a weak smile. He was standing by the window holding for a drip.

The most horrible thing in life is not death. It is the waiting for the death. When you swear God to let you go forever, but the highest power fights till the end. It is hated when you cannot decide anything. You! Adult person, all your life is making decisions, now in front of the death you are nobody and do nothing.

"Georgia, hey. How are you?" - Charley came to the rehab room.
"Oh, Charley! I'm waiting for you so long." - she rushed to him and leaned to his chest crying.
"Come on! I was here yesterday." - he tapped her back.
"Yeah, I know. But it's too long."
"You wanna see me to talk about something, don't you?" - they sat on the hospital bed.
"Oh, yes. I wanna you take my baby, please."
"What, Georgia, are you mad?" - Charley's eyes were running around.
"Please! My father doesn't want to hear about me and my baby." - she was in desperate.
"But, I know you will come with everything and bring up a wonderful child."
"No, you don't understand. I will die."
"No, you are worrying about baby coming, that's why you think so, but believe it's not true."
"The question is not about the baby, it is about my health condition."
"What are you speaking about?"
"After the baby's birth I can live during two or three months, but it's not enough to raise children."
"Who said this nonsense to you?"
"The doctors, Charley, I'm a drug addicted. Drugs has already ruined my organs."

Charley stood up and headed to the exit.
"Charley, please. I have nobody to ask." - she was suffering from her grief.
"Let's speak about it after baby born." He left her crying on the floor.

"Gabriel! Are you alright?" - Josephine arrived to know what happened with her husband, he was still her husband. From the airport she came to their house and a housekeeper said that mister Gabriel was in the hospital. But what's fucking wrong?
"Hey, darling. What are you doing here?" - Gab was so skinny and his body was like dry grapes.
"I should ask you the same, honey. What are YOU doing here?" - Jo came to him and kissed his cheek. He dropped his eyes and smiled without teeth.
"Don't you know yet? I have a cancer, Jo."
"When did you know about it?" - Jo's voice was shaking.
"About what?"
"About your cancer, Gab." - she was ready to scream.
"One year ago." - he sighed deeply.
"What!? And you didn't tell me?" - her eye balls were wet.
"Why? For your pity?"
"No, for supporting you, I'm your wife."
"Don't you guess, Jo. I ask you to be with Jayden. Who is in his healthy mind and body let his lovely woman to be with another man? If I'm not sick, I never let you go, never let him be with you." - he was getting angry.
"But I never leave you, Gab."
"No, you must leave me, it's not your problem any more. I must live with my disease alone and nobody can help me. But I can spoil your life, you lose your time, don't waste your destiny, please. One day the death can crawl unnoticeable and you regret about your stupid thoughts and your inactivity." - his rant was heard by Jo.

The death is speechless. The death is freedom. The death is relief. But waiting for the death is the most cruel thing in the world.
