Jail

Grace and me are in my car.
"Jail!? Oh my God! What is he doing there?" - Grace cries.
"I don't know, but I bet it's because of drugs."- I squeezed my wheel as if I'm taking part in a race.
"What will be with our family? He will be prisoned and I will be alone with child."
"Prisoned? Grace, "Jail" is the bar in San Francisco."
"Oh, why did you say he would spoil his reputation?"
"Because, there are a lot of ex-prisoners, that's why this bar is called by this intrigue name. You know, Jay can have a fight with one of them. There people are not so adequate." - from this thought, I put on my gas pedal to high speed. This action comes me back that day when I first time tried to practice speed with Ben. I'm  winking faster to get these images out of my head.
"Jo, let's hurry up. If they are fighting there, who helps us to break them?"
"Toby will be there too, don't worry."
There are 15 minutes left. Grace breaks the silence.
"You know, I lived hard with him. It wasn't so easy to accept our daughter. I hated her. She remembered your type and she has your name and Jayden looks at her and takes care of her so lovely daddy. He doesn't give so much kindness and love to me. Sometimes, it seems to me that I'm a baby sitter of your and Jay's baby."
"Grace, it was your choice to be with him. You had known about us before, why are you wondering?"
"I wanna him to love me. I hoped he would change."
"Nobody will never change, Grace. You are a big woman, don't you understand still?"
"So, it means, you still love him, what about your husband Gabriel."
"Gab knows about my feelings to my brother, he gets along with it, and he will never complain about it."
"Do you love Gabriel?"
"Yes, I have another love for him."
"If you had one option to choose Jayden or Gabriel, who would you choose?"
"Stupid question, Grace. But I would choose Jayden. But I would cry about Gabriel till the rest of my life. Thanks God I would never have such choice."
"I would choose Jayden too."
"You see, we are both who can save this asshole."
She smiles and not to be angry with me any more, I hope.
The radio is on and Ariana Grande is singing her song "7 rings". My tears don't listen to me and rolling on my cheeks.
"What's the matter with you?"
"Oh, don't pay attention on me."
"No, I should know."
"My friend... Ben" - I starts stuttering.
"I've heard about him. I'm so sorry."
"Yeah, Ariana Grande was the symbol of our friendship."
"Oh, dear."
"Ok, here we go."
"Jo!" - She touched my hand. I'm looking at her with a surprise.
"What's up, Grace?"
"I'm scared to go there."
"Come on. Some jerks will flirt with you, but that's not a problem. Think about Jay and your daughter."
"Do you think I'm a brave girl like you." - again past memory, Jay called me "brave girl".
"Grace, don't be like a small baby. Be sexy woman, brave fighter and wise person."
"Ok, you can persuade."
She comes out holding the gas can in her hand. I'm laughing at her.
"Grace, leave it in my car. I beg you. It can be so dangerous." - again, all what I say remember me about my Jay.
Grace makes deep breath and we step into this bar which calls "Jail".
