CHAPTER 19

Chapter Nineteen

As we we're riding the car, I can feel my eyes closing so I just placed my head on the window and drifted to sleep.

A few minutes later, I felt someone nudging me so I opened my eyes and then I saw Ami.

"Wake up Moya, we're already here, you can now sleep peacefully in your room" she said as she went out of the car.

I also got off the car after I unbuckled my seat belt and I saw Ami getting the keys to unlock the door.

She was finding the keys so I just stood quietly on her back, waiting for her to open the door.

As soon as she unlocked the door, we entered our house and Ami opened the lights as she go on her way to the kitchen.

"I'm going to my room cou'z" I said as I saw her nod while eating some apple that she got from our refrigerator.

Our house is not that big, but not that small, it's an average size of an house or just a simple house, it is just good for two persons to live.

Ami and I saved up our allowance when we're both in college so we can bought a house here when we graduate as we are going to work on the building.

We also did some part time jobs in high school and college. Ami and I made a schedule so it won't be hard for us and we also arranged it base on our class schedules and works to do.

There is also a time that we won't spend money on espensive stuffs like eating on a restaurant or a buffet since we are saving up money and we just go and eat ramen or bread.

When our parents knew about what Ami and I are doing, they literally scolded us and said that we could just have ask them to give us those or ask them fo financial assistance but we both disagree and what they said and stood up on our choice to be independent and not trusting them with anything.

Our parents said that they're going to buy us a condominium but again, as we're both crackheads, Ami and I insisted on the idea and we just said that we want to live on our own and we're just going to ask for help or money if we really need it.

And then after a long time of convincing them, they agreed on the end. They sure can't resist mine and Ami's cute and pretty faces.

The door of my room creeked as I open it and switched on the lights since it was dark.

Beside of my room is Ami's room and we also have one guest room.

Sound of my slippers are heard as I walk towards my bed and put my things there.

I roam around my room and a green box caught my attention.

The box was placed beside our family picture, I lift it up and went to sit on my study table.

It's a pretty box so I decided to open it and saw the most precious things that I really cared about and treasure a lot since then.
