CHAPTER 43

Chapter Forty-three

It's been a few days since Ami was been hospitalised due to a car accident.

Her wounds and injuries are now getting better, almost healed. Good thing it was just a minor one.

Bonnie once also suggested that we should tell the media about this so the people will be informed or be more careful but I insisted since I want Ami to be healed privately, we want to live peacefully again.

Ami's mom was also informed about her child's condition so she literally used her connections and hired a good doctor.

I also informed my mom and my family about what happened. She was so worried about us, she even said that we should quit our jobs here and come back home to work at the company.

Both Ami and I disagreed about the idea. We both want to work here to continue our profession and not to work as an office mates by attending meetings doing paperworks or projects at the company, it's too boring and too much to handle.

Our family didn't do anything to persuade us since they all knew that both Ami and I are hard headed so we really won't follow them.

But as them being smart, we signed an agreement that when Ami will be discharged, we will come back home and we will take a break from work for a while like a vacation. Ami and I just took the opportunity and deal with them since the offer is nice.

They would just gave us allowances and allow us to do all the things we wanted but we just need to go home and after that we can go back to work as we wished.

We are good about that deal because since we graduated and started to work in a legal age, our parents stopped supporting us since they wanted us to live independently and as a punishment also because Ami and I are you know, hard headed children but not as hard as a stone because we still have a soft side and a good heart hehe.

At first it was hard because we need to earn our own money without using connections or our family's wealth. They still care for us though but they said that we should learn our lesson.

Because of Ami and I's hard work and sacrifices we became successful and we made our family proud. My cousin and I started to live stressfree because we've already achieve our goal.

And now that theyre doing this, we're so happy about it since it's a rare opportunity. We are now an adult so we should act like one.

"Hey bitches, do you really want to accept your families offer?" Bonnie asked us which made me forget my thoughts.

"Well, I'm not sure but I'll just go with Moya's decision" I heard Ami answered.

"Actually for me, I'll accept it since I also miss them and our home of course, it's just that I don't want to leave our work here" I said.

"But we already finished our project right? We're on leave so I think we can just ask for a vacation to continue, I'm sure they'll understand and Mom said that after a few weeks or months of staying at home, we can go back to work as we wished" Ami explained.

"What the fvck? Let's just go home, why make it a big deal" I exclaimed as I slumped back to my seat.

"Yeah! This will be a good opportunity for the both of you because you can have sometime with your family and did you say that they'll provide you this time? See? You can also save up your money" Bonnie added and it made me look at Ami who is looking at me too.

"Hold up!" Ami consciously shouted which made us look at her.

"What?" I asked.

"We're just going home without having back your phone and returning that phone to the owner?" Ami said and pointed at the phone beside my bag on the table.

"Shet, I forgot about that. I declined his offer to meet up last time because Ami was hospitalised and he said that he understands and we could just meet up some time but I really forgot about that" I explained as I remember our conversation last time.

"Oh my gosh, I can't believe this story evolves around with just two people who accidentally exchanged their phones" Bonnie whispered to herself.

"Are you saying something, Bon?" I asked because I didn't hear what she said.

"Well, I said that you can message him so you can both meet up and have your phones back. Ami will be discharged in a few weeks so it means you'll be going home and if you don't message him right away, maybe you'll never have your phone back" Bonnie answered which made me use my brain to think.

"Yeah, you're right" I said and stood up from my seat to borrow Ami's phone.

I sent a message to my number using Ami's phone. A few minutes and the boy immediately replied to me.  He said that he is free so we both agreed to meet up at the same place.

I placed Ami's phone back to the table and returned to my seat.

"Where's Bonnie?" I asked Ami while looking for that's bitch.

"She went out, she said that nature is calling" Ami explained and I just nod at her.

"So, how's the talk?" Ami asked referring on me and the boy whom I switched phone with messages.

"We both agreed to meet up tomorrow at the same place, in Seoullism café at 1 pm. Is it okay?" I said.

"Of course, I'm with Ami so don't worry" Ami assured me with a smile.

I looked for a food to eat since my stomach is empty, obviously I'm hungry. I'll just stop by at home before the meet up so I could get ready and look more presentable hehe.

"Bitches I'm back!" I almost fell down on my chair because someone slammed the door with a shout.

"You bitch, Bonnie" I said towards Bonnie because my food was now laying on the floor.

"Oops, condolences for your food hihi" Bonnie just said as she fvcking giggled at me while Ami just laughed at us.

"Hey, what took you so long?" Ami interrupted.

"Am I out for too long? Well, I just had a little chitchat with a doctor down there" Bonnie answered as she retouched her make up.

"What the hell, Bon?!" Ami and I exclaimed at the same time.

"I can't believe you're flirting with a doctor here in the hospital, if you both really took so long doing your chitchat thingy then maybe a patient could have been died waiting for its doctor" I said but Bonnie just rolled her eyes on me and Ami was trying her best not to laugh.

A few moments have passed and it's already night time.

Ami and Bonnie are now sleeping peacefully, I gently stood up from my seat to turn off the light and went back to the couch as I also dozed off to sleep.
