Arine's POV

Sneaking from a highly secured Tower is not the easiest thing. I thought I'd be able to do it, but no! I can't. I can't use my powers because of the sensor, I can't be seen because of the cameras and, I cannot make a sound because of my own Dad having the strongest hearing. Wait I forgot one more thing, I have to restrain my emotions so that my mom doesn't sense me.

*Sigh.* Why did I agreed to this again?

*Flashback

'Come on guys, if we let him help us. It would be a lot easier.' My lazy part added.

'BUT, it's risky.'

'But worth a try.'

'We have no other option.'

'He did said we can die...'

'WE ARE NOT DYING!'

"OK STOP! I have made up my mind!" I yelled... basically at no-one.

"Glad to know that." A deep voice came from my back. I shrieked and threw my pillow on the figure.

"Ow." I saw Taiyo removing my pillow from his face with that ugly smirk of him.

'You and I both know that's not true.' I chose to ignore her.

"You need to stop speaking in and giving me heart attack!" I scolded. He just shrugged.

Oh this little-

"I like scaring you. Your face is hilarious." Taiyo chuckled. I am pretty sure I am red as tomato.

"Listen here, Mister. You don't want to get me mad. I am trying my best to control my anger and if I failed in that, you won't stay alive to see tomorrow's sun rise." I threatened in an icy tone.

"You are cute when you are angry." He smirks, yet again.

"That's it!" I yelled and attacked him, but he caught me before that.

"Ok ok, Sheesh calm down. Now, tell me your decision." He said, suddenly serious.

'Oh yeah, forgot about that.'

"Oh. Um- uh O-ok." I whispered. Taiyo made a face. "What?"

I rolled my eyes, "I said okay, I'll come with you and train."

"Good for you." He said. I thought he was joking, but he was not.

"So... What do I tell the Titans and my parents?" I asked. I can't just go to them and say, 'Hey there, I am leaving to train with a guy who I just met a few weeks ago and know absolutely nothing about him. And if I won't, I would die.' can I?

"Nothing." He said. "What?"

"Nothing. You won't tell anyone anything. You have to leave with me, alone and make sure no one know about your whereabouts. That's important because we can't risk anyone knowing our secret training." He said.

'Oh hell no!'

"No! I am not just going to disappear in thin air without telling anyone where I am. All of them are already scared for my safety because of Trigon and then suddenly I am gone. I just can't do that!" I yelled at him. Is he like, crazy?

"Well, you have no choice." He shrugged.

"Look, you and I both know I know absolutely nothing about you. I can't just go around trusting you with my life, only to know you were there to kill me? You need to give me a reason to trust you!" I said, this time calmer. He seems to buy it.
