"So what does it mean?" All asked at the same time.
Gar gathered all Titans in the Common room as he explained what happened, except the dream. Now all have only one question, what does it mean?
"When I was little, my mom sung me this one special lullaby when I wasn't able to sleep. It's based on an old mythological river Ahtohallan. That river holds the truth of this world. It is believed that water contains memories. My mom was really fascinated with these stories as she found an old saying of ancient people. It was that song. It describes this river. How a truth may hurt you, change you, define you. It's always said that truth is harsh. And that's why, we must be strong enough to handle it. The last lines of that song are, 'When all is lost, then all is found'. It means, for truth you must sacrifice. If you sacrifice everything, then only you will find everything."
She looked no different than an old wise woman telling people about ancient times as she described them what this old lines means.
"So you are saying that we all must sacrifice something to get... Something?" Kori asked.
"This doesn't makes sense!" Vic exclaimed.
"No." All eyes focused on Arine.
"It doesn't mean we have to sacrifice something. We all have lost a lot in our life, but it is also the reason what we are today. Nightwing lost his parents during a circus act. If he hadn't faced his parents' death that day, would he be the leader of Titans today?
"Kori. She lost her family, Her value, Her status, Her respect in front of her people. Her own sister betrayed her and sold her to their enemies. But, if none of that happened that day, would she be here with us today?
"Vic lost his human parts and mom on a lab accident. He was hurt, alone, scared and most of all, misunderstood. His Father made him a robot, which confused him till this day that is he a human or a machine? But if none of that happened that time, would he be a hero today?
"Dad... You lost your parents in a boat accident. You lost your sweet blonde hair blue eyes, tan skin to green. You lost everything in an eye blink. Some people abused you, used you, forced you to do bad things. But, if none of that happened, would you have met mom? Would you fell in love with her? Would you've been a hero? A Titan?
'When all is lost, then all is found.' it had happened to us. To all of us. We lost our most precious things, people for what we are today. Every one of us. We might sometimes think that if none of that happened, we would've been happy. But, what life we are living today, are we not happy? We felt how it feels to lose someone close to you, but that didn't made us weak, or pathetic. It only made us stronger. It made us what we are today. A hero! A TITAN!"
Arine ended and all other Titans just stared at her after her mini speech.
"Damn, she gives better speech than you night." Vic whispered to an utterly shocked Nightwing.
After moments of shock, the room filled with applause.
"Whoa. That was a lot to take but you did a good job explaining it. But it still doesn't have anything today o with what we have right now." Gar said. Arine shook her head.
"It's just a message dad. It has been sent by someone, and I know who that someone is."
"Who?" Kori asked.
"I still don't understand what we are doing here?" Gar whispered.
Titans were standing outside the warehouse where they had their little introductions with Slade again. Arine bought them here.
