I Won't Deny That.

"If we're gonna do anything, we might as well just fuck."

Ashtyn~

"Keri, can you please just have literally anyone else handle this right now?" I ask my receptionist, completely exasperated right now. Pushing my hands through my hair I toss my pen down on my desk as I look at her as she nods, "I'm not trying to be a bitch obviously, I just really don't want to deal with anymore than I have to."

"It's fine," Keri replies giving me a small smile, "I'll ask Stacy or something."

"Perfect," Is all I say before she exits my office again. Everything is so fucking annoying today for absolutely no reason, and I can't stand it. Looking at my computer, as I see the unopened emails and their senders, a brand new wave of annoyance overtakes me. You know what, fuck it, I'm the boss, I can ignore this for now. Grabbing my phone off the desk where it sat, I lean back in my chair and open the messages I've ignored so far this morning.

"Christian: Appt went well, definitely feels good not having the cast on anymore. LMK If you want me to grab lunch for you or anything, I love you."

Jesus, how the hell am I supposed to feel about that now? Like great his hand is fine but fuck, that means he's actually going to be leaving soon. Do I think that's a good thing or a bad thing? We'll get our space, and I'll be able to think about everything, but I'll be stuck alone in that house, I'll have the option to lose that safety net. Of course, he's not going to be gone gone, but he'll have enough time away from home for it to be an issue. God, why can't I just have my head where it was on Friday night? My other missed text was from Ashleigh. . .

Backing out of Christian and my conversation for the moment, I click on the one beneath it and see the message, "Ashleigh: Hey Ashtyn! Just wanted to check in to see if you wanted to do lunch or something, you were cool at the club and I think it'd be fun to get to know you! LMK!" Well, I've got a copout for lunch with Christian now.

"Hey, Ashleigh! I'd love to grab lunch with you LMK where/when and I'll be there!" I reply before heading back into the conversation with Christian.

"Hey, thats great news! I'm actually grabbing lunch with one of my new hires today, but I'll see you when I get home. Love you too!" I hit send before closing out of my messages and switching to Instagram and scrolling through, waiting to hear back from Ashleigh.

"Honestly, Ashleigh," I start, "That was only like the second time I'd done coke."

"Seriously?" She asks almost shocked, before adding with a laugh, "You took it like an absolute pro-girl." I can't help but laugh with her as I shake my head.

"I was pretty trashed, to begin with, and it was seriously the least of my problems at this point," I comment chuckling a little trying to keep things light for right now. "It definitely made my night better."

"Well, if you ever want more feel free to hit me up," She comments coming off as a joke even though we both know she's serious. "I mean if you want," She starts before rummaging through her purse before pulling out a small baggie. Glancing around a little before looking at her to ask if she's serious. "We could head back to my apartment quick or I could just pass this off for you."

"I've gotta get back to work soon here," I comment, "Pass off would work, what do I owe you?"

"Don't worry about this one," She tells me shaking her head, "You're cool and I can see us getting along super well so I'll help you out. I'll give you my boyfriends' number though so if you need something when we're not hanging out he can hook you up, depending on what you get is going to change the cost of everything obviously. What I hook you up with goes for about $180 a gram, there are cheaper options though."

Laughing a little I shake my head, "You don't think my fiance is the only one of us that makes money do you?"

"No," She laughs, "I just know not everyone wants to pay that premium even if you're getting a better product."

Chuckling I nod, "I guess that's fair."

Neither of us really touched our lunch as we just talked the whole time getting to know each other, a little more than just meeting in a bathroom and her hooking me up. We say our goodbyes, and I start heading back to the office as I pull out my phone and check the time, just after two. Not too bad, sticking my phone back in my purse, my hand grazes the little baggie. Maybe if I do this quick, I'll quit being so irritable.

Getting back into my office, I shut and lock the door behind me before I do anything. Am I really doing this? I ask myself as I lean against my door and look at my desk, thinking it over. Friday night was great, easily the best I've felt in a long time. Fuck it, let's do it.

Pushing off the door, I walk over to my desk. Putting my purse on the ground under my desk, I grab my phone out, then the little baggie. Sitting back up, I look at it in my hand a moment. Opening the baggie, I stick my finger in and scoop some of it out with my fingernail being careful not to waste any in the process.

Looking at the bump I've pulled out, I shake my head slightly before leaning into it and snorting it out of my nail. The tickle and subsequent mild burning of the back of my nose and throat make me have to clear my throat to try and force myself not to sneeze as I shake it off. Damn, definitely prefer using a straw. Good to know.

My eyes are watering a little, making me blink a lot as I get used to it again. Maybe now I'll actually want to get work done today.

After about an hour, everything I needed to get done today is finished. Wow, that's incredible. No point staying here any longer today when I really don't have to. Christian should be home too, maybe we could get something going again, like on Friday. Grabbing my bag, I take the little baggie out again and scoop out another bump, taking it quickly. Fuck, that stings a bit.

Rubbing my nose until it settles, I finish packing everything up to head back home. Standing up, my chest feels tight a moment before it passes. Probably just stood too fast.

I shut down everything in my office before grabbing my keys and heading out. "See you tomorrow Keri," I comment to my receptionist, passing her quickly as I leave for the night.

Heading down the stairs, I take them quickly before getting to the parking garage and finding my black Volvo. Getting in, I press the button to start it and wait for my Bluetooth to connect. The first song that starts to play makes me smile slightly while I pull out of the lot and into the street. "Sex," by The 1975, funny how that's where my mind is, and that's what plays. Checking for traffic at the intersection, I pull out and continue to speed on home. Somehow right now, I feel invincible.

"Hey," Christian says, "You're home early."

Smiling, I nod as I approach him as he's sat on the couch. "Hey," I reply before kissing the top of his head, my hands trailing down his arms. "Yeah, I got everything I needed done. I also wanted to see you." Christian turns his head up to me and kisses me making me grin a little. I really do just want to  fuck him right now. Who the hell cares about anything else in our lives right now?

Christian pulls away first and looks back at his laptop a moment before moving it to our coffee table. Smirking a little, I take the opportunity to come around the couch and take my place on his lap. "Well, hey there," he comments chuckling, shaking his head slightly as he smiles.

"Hey," I reply in almost a whisper. My eyes are locked on his, only letting a few moments pass before I'm pressing my lips to his once again. Letting my hands wander, they find their way into his hair. Lacing my fingers through, I tug on his hair gently as I start slowly grinding on him.

"What's gotten into you recently?" Christian asks, pulling away again and chuckling. His hands still rest on my hips as he looks into my eyes.

Furrowing my eyebrows together slightly, I shake my head, "Nothing, we've been together for months now and haven't had really any chance to do this together. Friday was incredible even with me being drunk. I figure we should get to do this sober too," sober enough anyways.

Christian chuckles a little with a nod, "Well, I won't deny that."
