"Disconnected, so sometimes I feel frozen, and alone. This is for everybody. Babe, you gotta take care of your body."
"Hang on Alex," I call out of the bathroom where I've been puking the last fifteen minutes before I hurl once again. As I'm leaned over the toilet my bathroom door swings open into the wall. He's gotta stop fucking doing that, we'll never get our security deposit back.
"Holy shit it smells like something fucking died in here," He comments, "You good? We didn't even go out last night." I puke again and Alex makes a gagging noise, shut the fuck up dude you did this to yourself. "Gross are you sick?"
"No, I'm just yacking for the fun of i-" My stomach continuing to empty itself cuts me off.
"Sassy even puking your brains out. Need anything?"
"You to get the fuck out."
"Got it," He says leaving and shutting the door behind him again. Groaning slightly I lean back against my cabinet and wait to see if my stomach is done being a dick. God this sucks. I push my hair back and am grossed out myself by how much I'm apparently sweating. Probably have the flu or something, that's great. Giving myself a minute more I push myself off the bathroom floor and start my shower. Shaking my hands out I try to physically shake what's ever got me feeling this shitty right now before I lean on my sink as I wait for my shower to heat up. This sucks.
Holding my hand in the water I check the temperature of it before slipping out of my sports bra and shorts and stepping in. Sighing I let the water beat off my back feeling a lot less stressed already. Taking a deep breath I let it out, you're fine Ashtyn.
When I finish I step out and towel off before heading back into my room and slipping on a grey hoodie and a pair of sweatpants. May as well be comfortable if I'm gonna feel like shit. I grab my phone from the charger and head into the living room.
"You good?" Alex asks.
"Oh just peachy," I tell him as I layout onto the couch, "Better after the shower but I'm like freezing and still kinda queazy. Kinda like how I felt when I had mono."
"Rough," Alex says before grabbing something out of the fridge, "Here," he tells me as he comes around the breakfast bar and hands me the Gatorade. "Even if you were being a sassy ass."
"Shut up I'm sick," I tell him chuckling, "Thank you."
"Should I tell Morgan she shouldn't come over?" Alex asks.
"Oh god," I tell him, "Probably I can't wait to hear this argument when she doesn't just suggest that y'all go to her place." Alex rolls his eyes and just shakes his head knowing how much I really can't stand Morgan.
"I honestly don't even want to hang out with her if we're being completely honest."
Rolling my eyes I look at him to see how serious he is, "Seriously just dump her. You literally don't even like her most of the time."
"Yeah but then I'd have to find someone else to fulfill my physical needs."
"You're actually a pig, thank you for the constant reminder that men ain't shit," I tell him seriously.
"Hey," He scolds me as if I'm the one who's said something wrong, "I didn't mean it like that, I mean I did, but like its a mutual thing right now and I don't hate her personality all the time."
"'I don't hate her personality all the time,' that's a quote for you," I respond shaking my head, "You realize your relationship is the definition of toxic right for both of you at this point."
"Yep," He comments jumping up on the counter and sitting on it before holding his phone up to his ear to make sure it's ringing before holding it out and putting it on speaker, "Here, some entertainment for you." I just roll my eyes and scoot up on the couch to watch him.
