CHAPTER Eleven

They arranged their position for practicing as they divided themselves in a team of two. One team contained Mark as the goalie, Axle, Daniel, Taren as strikers, Neil, gray, Stefan as defenders whereas the opposite contained Kane, Lora as strikers, Noel, Maruto, Brandon, Rock as defenders as they didn't had a goalie. Maruto acted as one for temporary sake.

They started with their training match. Axle moved forward with the ball followed by Taren and Daniel from both sides. Neil and gray played in the mid field and Mark at the goal post, whereas in the opposite team, Kane and Lora stayed in the centre and all the remaining players at the mid field or near the goal post.

Lora felt the strategy of Kane very hopeless because Axle was a good player and she didn't know much about how the other 2 played. Taking the ball from the 3 players would be tough. How was he planning to take away the ball? Mark also felt it a bit weird but as he didn't know how the other 2 played, he decided to not conclude before watching them play.

Axle moved forward with the ball and was going to cross Kane. Kane just stood there allowing him to pass by easily.

Axle was surprised seeing Kane not even attempting to get the ball. He concentrated on the game again.

He was happy to doge it easily but as he crossed Kane and moved forward the ball was missing. He didn't even realize it when the ball was taken from him. The ball was with Kane and he was running passing Taren and Daniel.

Lora and the others were still wondering when the ball was taken. Axle without wasting any time followed Kane. That made Lora realize that the ball was with Kane and to support him she ran forward but she was not able to catch up with Kane's speed.

She even than followed knowing it was useless and she wasn't going to provide any help to Kane. Kane moved forwards dogging Neil and gray. They weren't able to dodge as they didn't even realize when the ball was gone out of their sight and was going through the net.

All had a shocking face. Mark made himself ready although he hadn't fully recovered from the amazing movements of Kane. He tried using his technique of defense. He spread his legs with both hands forward and was going to use his technique but before he could have used the bell rang for the goal. He was just too shocked to recover. Kane speed was damn amazing.

All the members were going to move towards Kane when Mark signaled to continue with their practice remembering that they didn't had any time. He hadn't informed his team that was disturbing him but he knew that they would receive a nice shock which maybe they won't be able to overcome and disturb their practice hence he decided to inform them at the end of the day.

Their play again begun as Kane passed the ball to Lora. He doubted her skills before passing but finding no other choice he passed it to her planning to take it as soon as possible but the woody brothers (Taren and Daniel) came towards her. Lora was trying to take away the ball dogging the 2 but suddenly she saw many branches coming through the ground. She stopped moving with the ball trying to understand what was going on but before she could have realized and took any action a branch appeared from the ground taking the ball away. Lora didn't understand what happened in all of a sudden. She looked backwards to look who had the ball. The ball was with Taren and they passed it to each other and moved forward.

Lora started to run back towards them to get the ball. She was too back from them and could have possibly not matched up with them. Rock moved forward and punched the ground. Lora noticed that Taren's and Dan's movement were different and saw noel jumping in between them and holding the ball jumped again and passed the ball to Lora.

She moved again as soon as she got the ball but just when she got the ball the ball was gone. Axle took it from her. She was feeling bad now. She wasn't even able to match up with her own team mates. How was she even able to play the championship game with them?

"Pay attention," she heard Kane shout at her as he passed her and ran towards Axle. Brandon was at the place waiting for Axle to appear to take the ball. Lora also moved back of Kane. She saw some light coming and then getting disappear. She thought that it was some trick of Brandon as he was the most nearby to Axle. The ball was with Brandon but before he passed it to Kane he found the ball flying in the air.

"Whose technique is this one now," she thought and looked around.

The ball was missing. It seemed like Kane. But she found Kane running near the goal post where Maruto was standing. He noticed that Stefan had the ball and was running towards the goal and was going to pass it to Axle and again the ball was gone again.

"Am I playing hide and seek here," she cried and searched for the ball again.

She looked near Maruto but ball wasn't there. She looked at Mark but it wasn't there. She was in the centre. So where was the ball? She just than noticed a sight of those ember eyes. It was just a flash and it disappeared again. Those eyes made Lora depressed a bit as if they were saying that she was useless. She noticed Gray and Neil moving in front of Mark .

"What are they planning to do," she thought.

She saw Mark stretching his legs again and moved his right hand forward. Lora was shocked to see a red light appearing there and taking shape of a huge monstrous hand. She just than saw Kane standing in the mid field. The ball wasn't with him. That meant it had already been kicked. She looked near the goal where the 3 were waiting to guard the ball. She saw a glimpse of the ball when it was near Neil and gray and later the ball was seen when it hit the monstrous hand.

The ball was pushing the monstrous hand and it seemed that Mark would surely be blown back in the net but he clapped the other hand at that particular moment and provided all the possible force he can. The ball stopped but he had already crossed the line and hence it was again a goal.

Mark was damn tired and he felled down but tried to balance and sit up. All ran towards him.

"Are you all right Mark," Axle asked.

Lora stayed away from the crowd felling hopeless. She wasn't capable of staying in that talented group. What was she doing there on the first place? She seemed to be just useless causing more trouble to them.

She realized that she was even out of breath by now. She didn't have the stamina to play even half a round. She looked at Mark. Is he fine?

"I'm fine guys," Mark said trying to stand up, "Kane you were just damn awesome," he said.

"Yeah he surely was," all replied in an assent.

Lora bit her lips a little as he looked at the group.

"Its 9 already captain. I'm felling hungry," Maruto said.

"Yeah even we all are," Axle said even though he wasn't feeling that hungry. He thought it a nice way to make Mark relax as he won't relax if they told him to do but for his team he would.

They decided to move again to the noodles shop. Mark wanted to have a conversation with their coach so asked the others to enjoy themselves there. .
