CHAPTER Nine

Lora had changed and lied on the bed. She had made the list of the books she needs to buy but it can be delayed for few days as her fighting lectures had been delayed.

She looked at the sky missing her mother dearly and playing with her necklace. It was a red crystal dragon necklace. She always wore it.

The moon was shining bright that day. She gazed at it as she felt drowzy.

Just then she remembered about the ember eyes. 'Beautiful 'was the only word that scraped out from her mouth. She was felling drowsy. She took her bed sheet all over herself excluding her face. She tightened her grip over the pillow she kept beside her. She always used two pillows, one below her neck and one beside her. She soon felt asleep.

There were some noises. Lora's sleep was disturbed. It probably seemed the door's opening sound. Her eyes fell on the watch which said it had been just 15 minutes since she had slept. She heard the door getting shut. She sat up and looked towards the door. Someone was in the room. She saw a manly figure that frightened her little. She switched on the lights.

She was shocked. It was Kane.

"What are you doing here? " she questioned him.

Kane didn't reply rather moved towards the other bed near the door and shifted Lora's things on to the table.

"Hey what are you doing? Those are my things and what are you doing this late in my room...." She said but was interrupted by Kane's stare. He looked at her with an angry face. Lora stopped asking.

He lied on the bed with his hands folded looking at the dragon's head on top of the bed.

The bed was different than a usual one. The bed was a circular one which was made in such a way that it seemed to be a dragon's huge tail in loops attached and his face moved upwards. From the dragons mouth fire came out that represented the curtains surrounding the bed.

Any normal person would surely get frightened if the person woke up at night and suddenly saw the fire breathing dragon but Lora seemed to love it and so did Kane.

Kane looked at the constantly staring Lora.

"How long are you planning to stare at me like that," he asked.

"I'm sorry about that," Lora said recognizing it.

"And I may like to correct you with one thing" he said.

Lora looked at him wondering what he was trying to say.

"This isn't your room," he said.

Lora was surprised. She was thinking what the crazy guy was talking about. Yeah he saved the football ground and Lora was thankful for him a lot but just arriving at someone's room and lying on the bed and addressing that the place isn't hers...what crazy thing is that.

"I guess you never gave a thought about the second bed being in the room," Kane said interrupting her thoughts.

Lora looked at him and his point was right. She had never wondered about the second bed.

"Did the second bed mean that I have a roommate," the thought suddenly appeared in her mind and she was shaken a bit.

"At last you understood. This isn't your room this is our room..." he said looking at her and turned his face again.

Lora was bit shocked from all that sudden roommates activities. She wouldn't have been that shocked if he had directly introduced himself.

She kept her shock aside and sighing a bit laid back on her bed. She looked at Kane who was still staring at the dragons' head.

Lora wondered what he might be thinking. She remembered that the guy had not spoken since morning. What he spoke was just few sentences to Sapphire and that's all. She stopped thinking and returned to receive back her disturbed sleep as she had to wake early.

Before sleeping she again looked at him once who was still looking at the dragon. She ignored his actions and turned herself at the side of the window and slept.
