The group was out at 3, everyone went. Even Hitch, though she wasn't that interested in nature. Sasha piggybacked on Connie, Historia piggybacked on Ymir, she said Ymir walked too fast. Hange led the group through the woods, Jean picked pinecones off trees whenever Hange would stop.

"Eugh! It's a beetle!" Shouted Hitch in disgust, Armin took a closer look

"It's only a ladybug. Calm down" Said Armin, Hange pointed forward

"That way!" Directed Hange, she pointed in one direction

"We've already gone in that direction, Hange. We're going in circles" Said Levi, Hange thought for a moment

"Ah, I've got it. We'll split into groups of 2 and if one of us has found it, signal the rest." Said Hange, she pointed at random people and gave them directions. Jean was with y/n, he refused to let her go with anyone else. 

"Do you think we're actually going in the right direction?" Asked y/n

"No. We're out in the woods, we're not gonna see that fossil again" Said Jean

"So? I think we will. Knowing Hange, she won't give up until she finds it" Said y/n

"But Hange has pictures" Said Jean

"She also has determination. She said that if anyone finds the fossil, to signal everyone else" Said y/n

"Thats if they find it. If." Said Jean

"When Hange showed the pictures you were practically drooling over them, now you have the chance to see it and you don't want to" Said y/n

"Do you know how big their feet are? I don't even know how hange got the full picture" Said Jean

"A drone obviously, she always carrys one on trips" Said y/n

"We're probably standing on it right now" Said Jean. The sound of rocks banging against each other echoed through the woods

"Someone already found it" Said y/n, Jean and y/n followed the noises. Hitch and Eren had found the fossil, they stood in front of the hole, which Hange dug. Hange laughed in excitement as she ran to the groups

"You found it! Yes!" Cheered Hange, she had a big smile on her face. She slid into the hole

"C'mon guys, its totally safe for everyone, theres more than enough room" Said Hange, Levi went second, then y/n, everyone else slid in one by one. Hange turned on a flashlight and spead it over the fossil. It was indeed a Titan foot print, but it wasn't entirely uncovered

"Someone else was working on it, I didn't uncover this much this morning" Said Hange, as she ran her fingers across the foot print, Jean went over the height of the tunnel

"It was obviously someone tall, these walls are for someone whose over six feet tall, preferably someone is 6'2." Said Jean, examining the walls, everyone looked at Erwin

"Don't point fingers at me. I was informed about this by Hange and I'd seen it because of Hitch and Eren" Said Erwin

"Can we leave? It's really dirt-ish and naturey in here. It's gross" Said Hitch

"If you suppose. I'll be sure to mark this spot with ribbon" Said Hange
